Outback is more of a concept than a true taste of Aussie cuisine, especially outback cuisine.

Aussies like to eat mutton at least as much as beef.

Outback's food is tasty, but as this guy points out, it is chockful of calories.

Most of Outback's and Chili's appetizers are too many calories for an average meal.

I dislike lists like that. Not because the content of the list makes me worry about eating any of those things. A few I have eaten and enjoyed, and I'm sure I'd enjoying eating most of the ones I haven't. What I dislike is that the author of the list seems to be trying to tell the reader what to not like. And what is with all the poop jokes? The author seems to have an unhealthy obsession.
Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.

I find him too much of a joke to take seriously so I still enjoy checking out the list
now I will try out the KFC mash potato bowl
I call it the vegan`s fallacy
they complain soo much that they might be the inspiration for the meat lover`s pizza
you know I will try that also

I had a black bean lasagna at a cousin's house. That was so good! Her daughter is a vegetarian.

vegetarian cooking is tricky
so many different types of taste that don`t overlap very well
I gave some gluten to a friend of mine to try and she couldn`t handle it well
she is so used to eating vegetarian food of a certain type she can`t handle differing flavours.
gluten that I gave her has a meat like texture and flavour she just can`t handle
chinese buddhist food tend to taste like meat.
speaking of it,I now notice that kind of food is not exactly popular to the american vegetarian crowd
it`s a shame since I can give up meat  and eat buddhist food with very little trouble

I found some 'Buddha jumps over the Wall' in a can for under $3.00. It was pretty good. I served it with sticky rice. I don;t know if this is a proper thing to do, but I love sticky rice.

You could download a recipe and make it for yourself. That would be cheaper. If you really wanted to enjoy 'Buddha Jump over the wall', it is in your power to do this.

There is an interesting legend about this dish.

My favorite gourmet food movie is 'Babette's Feast', by the way. Now THERE was some complicated cooking.

I found my canned 'Buddha Jump over the Wall' in a Lucky Supermarket in South Dade. Miami has no Chinatown. I guess there are maybe 50,000 to 70,000 Mainlanders, Taiwanese and people from Hong Kong and Overseas Chinese here, but Chinese are quite and unostentatious and seem to try really hard to be invisible, unlike Jamaicans, Haitians, Venezuelans, Cubans and Colombians, all of whom have flags on their cars and t-shirts. I have yet to see a Chinese or Taiwanese flag on anything larger than a keychain.

I discovered the other day that the brand name LG that is appearing on so many bigscreen TV's is really the upscale brand name of GoldStar Lucky a Korean chaebol, or conglomerate.

I think they run the Lucky supermarket chain as well.

Why Asian Pride?

Are there so few Chinese that you need to include the rest of the continent?

Asia includes Japan, Iran, Turkey, a huge chunk of Russia, even Israel.

actually yes
it`s a cross we got to bear till that issue gets addressed in the future.
one of the very annoying thing us asians find is getting lumped together and now we do it ourselves.
but it happens all ther time
europeans get mixed and they don`t seem to mind.
africans to a lesser extent
I know many who only tolerate being called africans
