Admit it, you clowns think that somehow you have the right to force a woman through governmental authority to bear a child they do not wish to bear.
It is none of your business. You should not have this right.
If you had to carry a fetus around with you for nine months and squeeze it out of your butt, you would not hold tis opinion for a second.
There is certainly something to be said for the woman's rights and her own dignity. Yet, a mother is responsible for the life she carries within her womb as well. This is not some modern and foreign concept. I do believe that part of the problem in modern society is that we've lost much of our respect for motherhood and mothers. Look at how Hillary Clinton was chastised by some for her statement that "it takes a village to raise a child." The truth is, and parents know this, it
does take the respect of others to help raise a child properly.
Much of the symbolism for maternity and virtuous motherhood has been removed. This probably won't be a popular statement, but much of that was done through the Protestant Reformation. Women have become objectified and immaterial to many. Marriage, as CU4 tried to justify, has become a trite exercise of hit or miss.
If women were treated properly, I seriously doubt abortion would be the major issue it has become. Motherhood should be seen as a miracle and not a "life-ending" moment. Corporations would offer paid leave to pregnant women and not mistreat them in the workplace. Yet, we don't offer that worldview as a society. Motherhood is punished.
There are those who promote shame of unwed mothers, as opposed to love and understanding. Then they turn in wonder at abortion rates!
