Marriage is a sacrament and as such it comes directly from God. Jesus = God.

Well, he did seem to believe that insanity was caused by demons, and that demons could be transferred to pigs, who would then become suicidal.

He did cuss out a fig tree because it had no figs, even though it was out of season.

His mission was to bring the word of God to man, and he came from a tradition in which the word of God was written down, but then he wrote nothing.

I would imagine that other incidents of Jesus' life (assuming that there WAS a Jesus) were rather heavily edited to make him SEEM like he was actually God, or something like God.

It seems to me that Biblical "scholarship" lacks any appreciable degree of normal critical thinking.

you throw to demean my views/values relating to marriage that you really know very little about.

No I determined that I don't buy your and other human beings interpretation of what God's views are on marriage.
I think you and that line of thinking have had to create a fantasy world of make believe to connect the dots of reality.

You appear to live in a world of "my way or the highway" in regard to God, and I don't buy into that line of thinking
and actually I think that line of thinking is a very destructive force in the world and is not at all what the Lord has
in mind. But again if it works for you to have an "us against them" drama and demean others like Protestants
(btw which I dont claim to be) that have a different interpretation and it allows you to make your personal journey
then I can accept that and hope it works for you.
