Lamentably, John Kerry can't help them.

Juniorbush, Rummy or Cheney could help them, but won't.

Tough sh*t, hunh?

With luck, they will not be eaten by giant camel spiders.

When they get back, if they get back, maybe the GI Bill will help them enroll in a school where they can learn to spell better.

Even more ironic is the fact that Kerry voted to give Bushidiot the power to invade a sovereign nation on a radical cult's whim.

This is the same John Kerry whose work ethic is suspect and whose TWO wives both are extremely wealthy! Coincidence, I am sure. The same guy whose charisma on a 1 to 10 scale is a -5.

This is the same John Kerry who hasn't worked a day in his lfe

I'd dispute this assertion.

He hasn't worked much, but I wouldn't say never.

You realise of course that George Washington married an extremely wealthy widow as well?

Do you find something contemptible about that?

I modified my iniital comment, as you can see above, regarding his "work" issue.

As far as his marital issues, I think that John Kerry is highly opportunisitic. Let's leave it at that.

I guess I never saw what people "see" in him. Heck, Edwards, for example, was superior in my mind as were many other Democrats. Is Kerry the best the Democrats coulccome up with? How did the yexpect him to win or even come clsoe in the South, the Midwest, most fo the Mountain states? It is most difficult to win the Presidency just carrying New England and Awnold's home state.

It is almost like the Democrats WANTED to lose...

Again, the issue isn't about the Democrats or the 2004 election. I'm just stating a fact that Washington married the wealthiest widow in the 13 colonies. Why does Kerry's marriage to Theresa make him "opportunistic?"

Does that also make Washington opportunistic?

Sure, why not? Think the guy weas perfect?

Let's see: I have a friend. The friend, over a period of twelve years, married three wealthy women. Intriguing trend...

She was the wealthiest widow in Virginia, not all the colonies.

Common misconception. Many things people were taught about American history are actually incorrect.

I didn't learn that in history class, but was trying to recall it from a television program I watched on the History Channel. Once I read what you wrote it clicked in my mind that you were correct and that was what they said (i.e. Virginia, not the entire colonies).

I suppose I should have researched a little before saying it, serves me right for not taking the time ;)

==========================================
Was there an annual article on wealthy widows at that time?
You know, like the Forbes 500 of widderladies?

Could you tell us the wealthiest 100 or so widows that are alive today?

I think it would be of benefit to us all if one of us were to wed one of them...
