Ah, once again Ami to the rescue - - thanks, Ami.

I see that Hillary and Bill were just following the well-worn paths laid down for them by their Republican predecessors, like the 18 minutes of Nixon tapes "accidentally erased" by secretary Rosemary Woods, or more recently, the torture tapes "inadvertently" but very conveniently erased by the Bush administration prior to the trial of the victims and in spite of court orders to the contrary.  Bad, bad Hillary!!  Bad Bill!

On the heels of Democratic adventures like JFK using the FBI and the IRS to investigate and harass his opponents (Nixon and others).

How far back you want to take it?

I believe the original standard here relating to Hillary's unfitness for the bench was the destruction or disappearance of evidence.  That being the case, I'd take it as far back as it CAN be taken, which is where I left it, with the destruction of the Nixon tapes by his secretary, Rosemary Woods.  However if you want to start a new contest based on Presidential misuse of the FBI and IRS, I'll take your JFK and raise you one Nixon and his Dirty Tricks Department including use of the FBI to infiltrate anti-war protest groups, provoke them to violence and generate intra-group conflicts, including the FBI attempts to blackmail Martin Luther King into committing suicide.

<<What year was that?>>

According to Wikipedia, he won the 1964 Nobel and the FBI attempt to goad him into suicide was "just before he won the Nobel Peace Prize."

So we are still talking about Democratic administrations?

Ooops.

I mean, yeah, but prove that Kennedy or Johnson knew about it.

"The buck stops here" is a quote you're fond of using. Either they knew about it, or they were incompetent in not knowing about it.

JFK and RFK were very close, and RFK was very involved in everything that the FBI did - Hoover hated him for being so involved in day to day activities of the FBI. Johnson largely relied on RFK in justice as JFK did.

"Prove they knew about it" was a JOKE, Ami.  Naturally they knew.
