Glad I have your approval....especially with the claims of fake torture victim.  Fits nicely with the rest of your rationalized AMBE.  I'll pass it on

uhm
your focusing on the wrong target
this is not a bail-out of the deadbeats who are not smart enough when not to take aloan
it`s a bail-out of the banks
the idiots who gave the loan to people without actually checking they can afford it.
think about it
who would benefit from such a act and has the influence to do it
.
it just don`t ring true that our government would give such a large amount of money to home owners.
look the harsh reality is it is not possible for any group of people to refuse taking a loan like sub-prime.
which is the reason it was not done till now.
so claiming self-responsiblity  is moot.
which mean I still blames the lenders for doing a dumbass move.

So we have to fight seven or eight years because Juniorbush and Cheney were to damned stupid to know that Saddam had no WMD's., and that's okay, but we should not bail out several thousand people because the banks were dumb enough to lend them money?

Stupid president: gets bailed out for billions.

Stupid banks: needs to let a family get thrown on the street and their house turned into a crackhouse.

Is HUD the backer of these sub prime mortgages?

Some of them , I don't know what purportion , but I remember moveing into a neighborhood tht had two abandoned houses across the street from mine , one belonged to HUD because it was the backer of that mortguage. The othetr was still owned by the person who left it .

Both were vandalised and refurbished the Hud home sold much sooner because they could stand a bigger loss than the individual.

I think that the HUD house had to sell before the other house could attract any intrest.
