It basically quotes things that Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers said in the 1960s and tries to make Obama responsible for them.

While Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers were saying stupid things, John Insane was dropping napalm payloads that burned men, women and children to death, suffering the agonies of hell in the process as their skin was burned off their bodies.

I think maybe this is a secret Obama commercial, very clever - - it shows that Obama's friends even back in the Sixties were against war and atrocities and women and children being burned to death, and even then, John Insane was killing and torturing people safe in his little cockpit - - and making deals with his supposed enemies for special treatment once he was shot down.

Good commercial!  All it needs are some photos of napalm victims to round it out a little.

Most of the quotes from Bill Ayers date from a 2000 interview with the NY Times. The picture of him stomping on the US flag is from the same time period.

That's OK.  The only really stupid comments that either of them made were in praise of the Manson gang and those comments were made back in the 1960s.  That Ayers still has the balls to stomp on a U.S. flag and condemn their fascism and militarism consistently from the Sixties till the present shows a man strong in his convictions and uncompromising in his battle with the forces of evil.  Good for him!  And good for Obama for standing up for people like him.  The U.S. needs new leaders, ready to turn their backs forever on the forces of racism, fascism and militarism in America, and Obama should be encouraged to stay true to the values of the Sixties generation and not to run from them.  People are sick of war and fascism.

Oh absolutely.....Tee is spot on here.  Obama needs to spend some significant amount of his advertisement dollars, to let the rest of the country know just how connected and in agreement he is with Mr Ayers and his "positions" regarding America

Looking forward to it

A lot of people are scared shitless to cross the military or the flag-wavers, so they shut up or pretend to support them.  When (IF!!) they see leaders with the courage to tackle these fascist frauds head-on and call them what they really are, war-mongers, torturers, useless twits who took more time than the U.S. spent in all of WWII to subdue a tiny nation of 23 million people and STILL, after blowing $3 trillion bucks, can't get the job done - - sacrificing working-class youth while their own stay safe at home - - once they see that somebody on the national stage has the balls to call out these bastards, I think that'll be the end of their uncanny power to intimidate the U.S. public into "supporting the troops."

Well, of course it'll never happen, but it sure would be beautiful.  If only the American people would grow a pair.  Start off in a REALLY new direction.

A new direction like blowing each other up?

Why are these people any nicer than the Klansmen who would blow people up?

Please Obama, take head to Tee's counsil.  Multiple advertisements on your complete support and close bond with Mr. Ayers, and his ideological positions.  It's such a win-win scenario.  Really

I am really touched by sirs' faith in the eternal submissiveness of the American sheeple to fascism and militarism.  It's a reflection of their leadership and God knows they've been led for decades by a fine mix of shameless demagogues and spineless cowards.  You know, sirs, if the leaders of the Democratic Party ever DID grow a pair and take on the fascists, the militarists and the plutocrats head-to-head, the sheeple just might surprise you.  But without that kind of leadership, the sheeple will remain just as cowed and docile as they have been since the end of the Sixties.

I doubt veterans of the summer of love were all that impressed with those who thought the ANSWER was setting bombs.

<<I doubt veterans of the summer of love were all that impressed with those who thought the ANSWER was setting bombs.>>

Ayers as a bomber took a distinct second place that summer to the USAF.  I think the veterans of the Summer of Love were a lot more upset at the USAF bombing families with napalm than they were at Ayers and his cohorts blowing up a few empty buildings.  Funny how the Air Force could build up a body count of two million while Ayers and his pals could count their victims on the fingers of one hand, and all of them were purely accidental and unintended.  "Collateral damage," if you will.  Surely YOU of all people can understand collateral damage.  But guess which one has the gall to be running for president?

We aren't talking about the Air Force . We are talking about a  Peace Love generation guy who takes the law into his own hands. Try to stay focused. You don't see the disconnect of advocating the end of violence by using violence?
