Right one!!!

Far Right Redneck One For Sure!!

THE teenager expecting a baby with the unmarried 17-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin is expected to be publicly unveiled at the Republican Party convention.

But Levi Johnston, 18, has created a further stir, describing himself on his MySpace page as a ``redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes".

The description appears in a profanity-laden entry posted by Johnston that was made private over the weekend, but not before several media outlets published parts of it.

Johnston, who is to marry Palin's pregnant daughter Bristol, is reportedly flying to the St Paul, Minnesota, convention after being outed by international media.

He played ice hockey at Bristol's high school and the Palin camp says the teenage couple will get married.

But in Johnston's MySpace entry, the teenager hints that fatherhood was not in his immediate plans.

Johnston says he is ``in a relationship,'' but on the question about how he feels about children he said: ``I don't want kids.''  He also says his true love is ice hockey.

Here's part of his entry before it was made private: 'I'm a f--kin' redneck who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes. But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s--t and just f--kin' chillin' I guess. Ya f--k with me I'll kick ass.''

Republican presidential candidate John McCain says he is satisfied that Palin's background was properly checked before the Alaska Governor became his vice-presidential running-mate.

“The vetting process was completely thorough and I'm grateful for the results,” McCain said.

Questions about the review came up after news surfaced that Bristol was pregnant and that the Alaska Governor has retained a private lawyer to represent her in an investigation into the firing of the state public safety commissioner.

The lawyer who conducted the background review said Palin voluntarily told McCain's campaign about Bristol's pregnancy, and about her husband's two-decade-old drink-driving arrest during questioning as part of the vice-presidential search process.

McCain's campaign has been trying to tamp down questions about whether the Arizona senator's team adequately researched his surprise vice-presidential selection.

Since McCain publicly disclosed his running mate on Friday, the notion of a shoddy, rushed review has been stoked repeatedly.

In St Paul, Minnesota, campaign advisers vehemently defended the Palin review.

So, Studly McKnock'EmUp is going to have a shotgun in his back tonight.

If what he says on his MySpace page is true and he "does not want to have kids" wonder why he didn't wear a condom?  Maybe he only got the abstinence only treatment.

All snark aside, what really galls me the most about all this is how you guys love abstinence only and denounce sex ed but then when these two kids very conspicuously ignore abstinence and don't even use a condom, you guys don't want to acknowledge that as a mistake nor as an indicator that maybe if they had been given some kind of idea of how the sexual organs work, they could have prevented this whole situation.

You'd all rather think of it in terms of the political ramifications for this election cycle.  Paint is all "all good".  Paint it as "they're doing the right thing  and keeping it".  Of course, those of us on the other side are doing the same sort of thing but do you see how, for my part at least, I think that it is a lesson in the necessity for some kind of condom program.

Clearly, they did it.  They had sex.  His peepee went into her hoohoo and they conceived a child.  If they had each thought that in order to place said peepee in said hoohoo that the peepee should have a condom on it, the situation would not have arisen.

Free condoms for anyone over the age of 15, I say.  I'd rather my son learn to wait as long as possible from me but have the knowledge of what happens if he doesn't and how he should go about it from trained professionals than from porn on the 'net.  This hard line the right takes is absolutely ludicrous and not working to curb unwanted pregnancies.

Funny how most people, especially those who have achieved some position in life, manage to raise kids who DON'T bring characters like that home to meet the folks, let alone get knocked up by them.  The kid's web-site BTW was hilarious.  My prediction, for what it's worth, is that he WON'T get into Harvard Law.  What are the odds of the Obamas' two daughters' even KNOWING somebody like that, let alone getting knocked up by one?

You gotta wonder, if Palin's parenting skills are any indicator of her leadership ability in general, WTF would happen to your country if McCain ever managed to win the election and she then had to take over from him? I think at this point a lot of voters must be thinking the same kind of thoughts.

I'm betting, Kramer, that you're not a parent.  If you were, you'd understand that most parents would (figuratively) reach for their shotgun the minute they saw a kid like Levi within a hundred yards of their daughter and they'd raise their daughter so that they'd never need to reach for the shotgun.

You don't get it, and I don't expect you to.  Most voting parents will get it in a heartbeat.

I wish Levi well.  (Because I'm not a bigot.)  I hope he straightens out, matures, develops his good qualities and phases out the bad.  But put him in today with a thousand kids of his generation, randomly picked, rank 'em by promise or potential and, to put it kindly, he'll wind up in the bottom third.  NOT what any decent parent wants for their daughter and a gross indicator of parental failure, IMHO, for Gov. Palin.

Sirs clearly these people posting here about Palin are ignorant to life in Alaska. Alaskans are tough people and it's sorta like the wild wild west out there. 16 is the age of consent. These Palin attackers are sexist too. Nobody said anything about Perky Katie Curic (a single mother) who works 15 hourse a day raising her children.

Regarding Palin's daughter at least the girl won't become a welfare mother like all of Obama's constituents. At least in Alaska Fathers Day isn't the most confusing day of the year as in places like Harlem.

These low-blow attacks will backfire and Palin will one day be POTUS.

I have to wonder why the left is making a big deal out of Palin's daughter. After all, in Norway, where their policies are operating in full force, 70% of children are born to unwed mothers. I understand why it made the news, but what's the big deal? My mother had me when she was 17, too. Shit happens, and it happens to everyone, and this kind of shit has been happening ever since the invention of teenagers and sex.

I predict in terms of votes, the net effect will be a big, fat zero. So far, the only people who have been making a fuss over it are the ones who wouldn't have voted for the ticket anyway.

Humor is based largely on truth. I don't find it racist to expose that a large scale and disproportionate amounts of people in certain regions of the country have children from several different fathers.

But getting back to the real point that DEMOCRATS for OBAMA are treating Palin different because she is a conservative women would deny there is a big elephant in the room.

In Norway it is roughly 50% of first born children who are born to unwed mothers, many of those wed after the first or second child.

LOLOL

It is NOT the "wild west" in Alaska by any means. The age of consent in Alabama, Hawaii, Georgia, South Dakota, and Wyoming is also 16. It is not something unique to Alaska by any means.

Racist. No humor here unless you're just particularly fond of racism.

Politics in the US is friggin' ugly. Why you're allowed to have a free-for-all on Senator Obama and others cannot attack Governor Palin seems a bit thick to me. You seem like the kid on the playground making fun of other people for a laugh then crying when your nose gets bloodied.
