I doubt this. China is enormous. I would expect food scandals to continue there, just different scams.
It's not that Chinese are corrupt, just that there are 4 times more of them than Americans.

the companies will of course try some scam but the quality inpectors from now on will not be bribed.
remember they did execute the dept. head for this and it`s doubtful this is simply just a object lesson.
I`m pretty sure the government will do this as many times as need(maybe more) till businesses stop harming the country`s income.
