McCain wants to cancel the VP debates.  They don't want Palin standing on any stage trying to talk.

It would be more embarrassing than Admiral Stockdale.

I dunno, if she bit Joe Biden around the ankle, it would take three big guys to pry her jaws apart and get her off him.  It's probably Biden who's trying to cancel.  He can't find any ankle guards that are strong enough.

I wouldn't get so cocky. I've been watching her 2006 gubernatorial debate and she holds her own well.

Maybe she is great. But apparently the Party wants to forgo the VP debates.

Is renegging on the debates a mark of "Maverick" behavior?

It's the mark of a great, all-encompassing panic.

Obama v. McCain = Kennedy v. Nixon

Is Obama's dad rich enough to buy his election?

<<You seem to have no concept of Annapolis at all , getting in is tough , staying in is tougher , Harvard accepts students with much less qualification and does not run them ragged trying to wash them out . No dummy can graduate from Annapolis at all.>>

I don't buy any of that.  I  think it was BT who pointed out that they get in on a Congressman's recommendation.  McCain obviously got in because of his ancestry.  The best and the brightest want Ivy League.  Always been that way and always will be.

<<Do you know that a lot of our Presidents have been Harvard grads , but another good group came from the military Academies , these are institutions held in high esteem.>>

They get in because Americans love a man in uniform.  If they were picked by brainpower, you'd never see a military school graduate in the whole bunch.  Maybe the odd one - - Douglas MacArthur for example, but not many.

So you don't like Grant , Eisenhower or Carter? Grant by the way was far down the lists at West Point ,Lee was  a valedictorian.

Americans do love a man in Uniform ,if you mean an American Uniform , we also like valedictorians but not quite as much.

Do you remember the big hit movie starring John Wayne "The Valedictorian" ,...No?...me either.

Never said that. But she holds her own in a debate very well.

You may noy agree with her on some issues, but let's drop the crap about her being incompetent.

Then they'd have to stop the crud about McCain being a moron, a wife beater, a lying sleazeball.  And we can't have that now

Not going to even bother asking for a back up source to that idiotic claim, given who's trying to present it as some fact
