How Racism Works...

What if John McCain were a former president of the Harvard Law
  Review?
What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his
graduating class?

organization?
What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?

If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the
election numbers would be as close as they are?

This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes
positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative
qualities in another when   there is a color difference.

Hillary Clinton had it right , being black is Barack Obamas chief advantage , he would be no more popular than Dennis Kusinisch if he were not.

How "The Crutch" works:

A white gets pulled over for speeding and a non-friendly cop writes him a ticket.

A black guy gets pulled over for speeding and a non-friendly cop writes him a ticket.

The black guy thinks "he pulled me over because I am black" and "he gave me a ticket because I'm black".

One of the guys has a "crutch". He blames racism for a bad result not his own actions.

"The Crutch" is devastating to an entire culture because it allows a pervasive attitude of "failure is never my own fault".

Poor results are so easily dismissed as "someone else's fault".

"If I lose an election, well it's because of racism".

It's always "whiteys fault".

It is a very sad fact of life and until it changes nothing much will change.

I have many cop friends and the truth is skin color does play a factor.
and it is taken advantage of in the drug trade.
the most prefered drug mule is white college girls.because no cop will ever search her car.
but people tend to think it`s impossible pay these girls to do this.
obviously they never saw girls gone wild and most of those girl did it for free.

I think that if these hypotheticals were true, Republicans would be going on about how stupid Obama is and how smart McCain is, how crooked Obama is and how sterling McCain is, how McCain is a persona of marital fidelity and Obama is a moral low-life, and how Obama's wife is a junkie thief and McCain's wife is of unparalled virtue.

I don't see it being any different if it were to be reversed than what it currently is.  I certainly don't see race playing into these hypotheticals.

If you want to see why the race is so close, look at the polarization of the American people (how many vote a straight vs. mixed ticket), the demagoguery from both sides of the political aisle, and the dwindling number of moderates in the middle.

thats why i love to see black policeman, black jailors, black mayors, black judges, ect...

no one denies racism exists, but racism is not the reason for all failures

failure happens in life....people dont get the jobs they want.....people get speeding tickets....

failures happen to all races....but one race....has a crutch to blame others for failure

african americans tend to blame almost all of their failures on racism

until they rid themselves of the "crutch" and "welfare pimps" they will continue to suffer

I did not say that .
but at least you acknowledge racism does exist
but stating  it`s a crutch solves nothing
it doesn`t address a person of color(not just black) has a higher chance of being pulled over.
by stating the crutch excuse it leaves white suspects to be let go
stop letting criminals go free
people who commit crimes should go to jail
don`t use the crutch excuse and let white criminial get a free pass.
I don`t recall a deficit of black criminials in prison.
if racism is a crutch it`s not exactly working.
