What a movie!

When the streets of New York celebrate love as she did when my sister was married in the upper east side 7 years ago, I could smell the fear and the death in the street's pavement. I witnessed boxes-the homes of the down and out living on Park Ave. I walked right by their abodes.

Black men kill. White men kill.

Women cry.

Women suffer.

The taste of the street is naked on the lips of the heartbroken soul.

A guest of the wedding had her car stolen like the wind in the air that we breathe.

Like the soft fall air that warns us of the coming doom.

Gone in a flash on the upper side of the city's street.

I could smell the fear in that city when I stepped onto her skirt, the lining carrying me away as if in a dream.

This movie shook me to my core.

There's love in blood running deep.

If there's compassion and justice.

Material things are golden to the swift pirates of the curbs of New York.

Material things----bodies taken in the night-----matter not to the thief in the night.

I come from a land of eagles and doves.

Concrete is the jungle that is New York. The smell is telling.

The fear is telling.

The posibilities are end.

Less they

bring swift gifts to the needy.

New York.

Never felt fear in NYC.

Nor Chicago.

Baltimore was a different story.

I felt the hurt surrounding the city, as my sister's wedding was exactly one year after 9-11. Had never big to the big apple. . . let alone visit the Park Ave. area. We stayed at the Waldorf, and I actually walked the streets nearby all by myself. I wasn't afraid. But, you could cut the grief with a knife. The employees at one pizza parlor in particular we numb.

I felt fear after a brand new car was stolen from one of the wedding guests. There was no way the auto was going to be found...ever!

Here is Alb. there's a chance for such a recovery. ha!
