San Jose police probe vandalism at "Yes on 8" home

SAN JOSE, Calif.

San Jose police are investigating another case of vandalism
targeting supporters of a gay marriage ban in California.

Police were called to a house in South San Jose earlier this week after homeowners
reported their garage was spray-painted with "No on 8" messages.
Proposition 8 would take away the right of same-sex couples to wed.

The homeowners had signs supporting the measure on their lawn.

Sgt. Mike Sullivan said the department has not tracked incidents of political sign vandalism,
but he does know there have been at least four reported incidents involving Proposition 8.

The campaign to defeat the measure issued a statement saying it condemns vandalism
and activities of this kind.

Any reports of similar "violence" against gays?  They always suffer a lot more violence, bigotry and hatred  from gay-bashing, hate-filled anti-gay forces than the other way round.  Anyone who remembers the horrifying case of Matthew Sheppard or hundreds of others just like it will immediately know what I am talking about.

So far so good , the press of California is not selective against reporting gay bashing .

California is as big as France , this is a large amount of good behavior.

If you were to propose this same thing in France , wow , there would be a burning Pegout on every street corner.

Yeah, roughly I'd say it's about equal to the total number of gay people in California.  I think every gay man who is visibly or otherwise identifiable as such, as well as every straight man who may appear to some to be gay, has probably experienced more than one physical attack, threat or verbal attempt at intimidation or humiliation.  Although I would expect that California would probably be marginally more tolerant than the rest of North America.

and don`t forget it`s extremely difficult thing to do.
a gay bash require at least 3 guys to overcome 1 gay person
I only recall one single person gay bashing and that guy used a pipe.
you say alot of bad things about gays ,but physically weak has never been true.

This is more people than exist in Canada , it is bigger than France plus Belgum , it is even bigger than Texas.

Does this happen every few days or every few months?
