The hospital is the best place to quit - no choice in whether to smoke or not.
Wanna bet? If you can walk, you can find a way.
Nurses look the other way if you treat them right.
Hmmm. Good point. My one hospitalization was for a major surgery and I wasn't walking anywhere for a few days. I could have quit right then, but when I got home... guess I'll have to go get myself another major surgery for a second chance at that!
Speaking of smoking, living in Jordan is kind of like '60s or '70s in the U.S. There majority of folks smoke and they smoke everywhere, legally - in the grocery store, at the office, in the waiting room of the hospital. Major brands of cigarettes go for about $10 per carton, generic for far less. I have come to appreciate the controls in the U.S. (particularly not being able to smoke at the desk at work as I clearly have no self-control until someone tells me I can't).
