The female vocalist (Annie Haslam) in the last several vids has an amazing voice - better than 5 octave range and perfect pitch.

Terrific stuff! I got into civil war songs while I lived in Tennessee. I guy I met there knew a lot about them. Since then I've kind of lost touch with that music. If you know what to look for I'd appreciate it greatly.

I've been spending a lot of time "out of work life" listening to youtube videos, as well, Richpo.

Gotta say....they are quite the venue for pleasurable listening......a quick concert in the making, for a recess break.

Tom Petty might be one of the most under rated rockers.

Hey, at least he got some decent air time. Aldo Nova was another under rated rocker, better than Petty (IMHO), and got hardly any air time in the US.

I've heard this Aldo Nova tune. I think it still gets air play on the oldies stations.

I wish I knew Gibson made a guitar that shoots lazer beams. I wouldn't have bought my Fender!

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Harvey died in 1982 at the age of 42 of a heart attack.

Seems to me that if he were that good, he would have the 'air time'.

by and by.....No one can match Tom Petty. He's in a league of his own.
