The Oil Leak will be the catalyst to Barry's downfall
« on: May 29, 2010, 02:46:21 PM »
Sure there are many things that can & will bring Barry down but this (40 days of gushing oil) is the beginning of the end of the honeymoon with his base and the MSM.

The man is going down hard!Thank GOD!

Here we are 40 days into nonstop oil spillage and the latest attempt has FAILED. Meanwhile Obama vacations, golfs, spends lavishly on dinner and partying. This my friends means that people are going to start running away from Obama like he is cancer. Yes indeed, he is going down. Going forward all his blemishes will be magnified. Barry has sealed his fate. The gifted teleprompter reader is history.

Now my prediction, as he goes down, black people will begin to remind us that Obama is only half black and the other half is white. Jesse and Al will start preaching that the white Obama has fu#*ed everything up and the black Obama is doing his best to fix America.

NEWSFLASH, Kramer, he lost his base a long way back.  The only thing that might save his sorry ass now is that people will remember the disaster of eight long Republican years, the calamity that was Bush.  At least "Barry" - - despite all his backtracking and betrayals - - hasn't started any new wars of choice.

LOL, making "Barry" even worse than Bush, in the minds of the Bush haters, as he continues and escalates the so-called "wars of choice", making him a bald faced liar, on top of the incompotence and piss poor judgement.

Oh, NEWSFLASH Tee, Bush isn't running for anything.  The effort to "blame Bush" for everything Obama, occuring now ON HIS WATCH, ran out of any steam nearly a year ago.

But hey, its your guys' political grave.  Just keep supplying those shovels

Do you remember my telling you that BHO's biggest job would be to make Bush look good?

I am sanguine.

President Obama did not cause the oil leak in any way, and has managed it almost exactly as well as McCain would have done. I fail to see how people can reasonably hold him responsible. Most of you seem to hold him guilty of just one thing: BPWB (being president while Black).

President Bush didn't cause the WTC to come down on 911, nor cause Katrina, yet BOTH are consistently inferred to as Bush's fault, by folks like you & Tee, precisely because they happened "during his watch"

So, which is it going to be??

As a matter of fact, I do.  He has a helluva long way to go before he could make Bush look good.  I think at this point, the general consensus is probably that Bush is the worst President ever.

Juniorbush could have PREVENTED 9-11m, and he could have put someone with experience and a brain in charge of FEMA. He was not castigated for causing any hurricane, just poor preparation, and saying that "Brownie" was doing a helluva job when there were bodies rotting in the streets.

That's your completely unsubstantiated OPINION on his being able to have prevented 911.  Facts and logic would dictate otherwise.  And Obama could have either appointed someone "with experience" to step up regulations & oversight, if the Oil Rig safety protocols were supposedly so lax.  Could have appointed someone "with a brain" to have put together worst case scenario plans to initiate at the very outset of just such a castatrophe.  Could have facilitated an executive order for a full assessment of all oil rigs in the gulf, in preparation of his rhetorical pledge of restarting offshore reasearch & drilling

Point being your rationalizing why it's ok to blame Bush for stuff on Bush's watch, but Obama's stuff gets a pass, while on his watch, is pretty transparent.

The double standard is duely noted

If Bush (in your twisted imagination) could have prevented 9/11 then why didn't he?

Actually, XO, alot of the issues surrounding the solving of this roblme are simply outside his control. For example, the experts are not Govt, but oil industry, so there's not a lot in that realm the President can do more than what he is currently doing.

But, he could respond MUCH DASTER to dealing with issues such as Lousisina environmental damage. For example, why delay Gov. Jindal's sand barrier idea? At this point, it is unclear you have much to lose, even long term:

"President Obama, who toured the area Friday, said federal officials were prepared to authorize moving forward with "a portion of" an idea proposed by local officials, who want the Army Corps of Engineers to build a "sand boom" offshore to keep the water from getting into the fragile marshlands." www.cnn.com.

He's just "preparing to authorize? You kidding me!? Jindal has been pleading for this for weeks!

DUH!
Incompetence. He failed to listen to those like Richard Clark, who knew what was going on.

The major threat to the US was Islamic terrorists when Juniorbush took office.

Who did he appoint as National Security Adviser?
Condi Rice, an expert in the defunct USSR. She was trained to tell us what Brezhnev was thinking. But Brezhnev was deceased.

What did she know about the Middle East? Diddly. Hamas rules in Gaza because she was ignorant of political attitudes in Palestine. She thought that moderates would replace the PLO  with an election. Hamas won in Gaza. The PLO came in second. Her moderates came in after that.
