All these issues brought up are relates to how police treat people. Not all but a notable percentage that it effects the people you see protesting. I'll use colin for example when he took a knee my first reaction is did he get arrested? Sure enough he did for helping his friend move Furniture . The internet will make sure every single mistake the police makes will not be ignored.

that kinda reminds me of an expression
a conservative is a liberal that got robbed
a liberal is a conservative that got arrested

I never got that impression. I thought it was trying to get a bigger share of attention of police abuse . Thiers a very common expression the black community used to say. When it happens to a white guy everybody will finally pay attention. But actually it does seems the reverse is true.

very true kimba

upon reflection of the ferguson riot I think BLM was a a bigger mistake because if they let the protest blow up and get out of control BLM would look much more positive and a welcome alternative. if you remember ferguson riot was done by mainly violent white protesters who are very angry about police abuse.

Most cops are neither racist nor evil. but more than a few that I have met have been pricks. This may be because of those who hire them.
The good guy with a gun bit is silly, because either the good guy is not around or is not armed.

Except when they are

.... the amount of stories of "good guys with a gun" is too numerous to post here, but let's just go with the latest one....the church shooting in Texas, where its likely everyone in the church would have been slaughtered, if not for the neighbor & former NRA Instructor, who heard the shots, grabbed his AR, and raced out towards the shooting. Saw the murderer, shot him, and stopped what could have been a far greater kill count

good guy with gun saved a bunch a people in that church SIRS!

So much for the notion that "either the good guy is not around or is not armed"
