Yeah, sure, we should choose our presidents based on magazine covers.

Time had Putin on its cover not so long ago. Was he running for president?

Where do you GET this crap?  Who do you think it is going to impress?

I would certainly prefer President Putin over Barack "Help Islamists Take Over Countries" Obama!

What rot!

Putin is a dictator and a warmongering dolt.
I bet you would be thrilled at a leader that would make the national currency plummet by 50& in less than a year.

Putin is a dictator and a warmongering dolt.

Putin protect's his countries interests and wants to prevent the Obama/Oligarchy from installing radical Islamists around the globe.
Putin only responded to American meddling in his backyard.
Russia has far far far fewer bases off it's own soil than does the US....
So if Putin is a warmonger what is Obama?
Obama is killing more people with drones around the world than any Head of State in world history!

I bet you would be thrilled at a leader that would make the national currency plummet by 50& in less than a year.

Putin's popularity is soaring!
The Russian People realize what is going on.
Putin and others are being punished by Obama/Oligarchy for trying to replace the FRAUD American Dollar standard.

I hate to say this, but since you think Russia is sooo great, why don't you go there to live?

I agree that his taking over Crimea was a popular move, and Crimea was never really Ukrainian, anyway. Most of the people were Russians, Tatars, and others. The Ukrainians have not managed to elect a competent government since independence. They elected a corrupt pro Westerner, who robbed them blind, then a pro-Russian, who did the same.

The Russians like dictators and oppressive governments. The US and others are applying the pressure to the Russian economy, and the ruble has lost half its value. Russia depends on oil and gas to maintain the economy.

The US has deliberately tried to make beggars of the Russians since 1991, and of course, the Russian people oppose this and back Putin.
I do not care what happens to Ukraine. It should not be a problem for the US.

Missing point again.
I never said "Russia is great".
Russia is a big gvt shit hole....not even in the Top 50 of the Human Development Index.
I do think President Putin is a stronger, better world leader than Barack Hussein Obama.
I wish we had a strong, better leader than we currently have.
Get it now?

YOU are the one who does not get it. Putin throws people who criticize him in prison, like the Pussy Riot girls. He is a tyrant, and uses the police as his goons.

You mean, kind of like how Obama uses the Justice Dept, EPA, & IRS

Get serious.

Produce a list of all the people jailed and fined.

You can't because there are none.

I can't because I never said jailed or or fined, now did I, Professor Deflection.  I specifically referenced how they're being used as goons, to do his bidding.  But I bet if I actually looked, I'd likely find a laundry list of organizations & individuals fined by the Justice Dept, EPA, and IRS.  Careful what you ask for.  It's likely to make you look just that much more in error than you generally are

Dinesh D'Souza makes a couple of successful recent movies critical of Obama
and then suddenly now sent to jail by a Clinton appointed Federal Judge on some bogus bullshit charges.
Yeah I am sure it's a total coincidence he makes critical Obama movies and is now in jail.  ::)

Notice also that movie that wasn't a "comedy", that depicted then President Bush being assassinated.   I think it even won some award.   That movie was apparently perfectly ok
