Obama and the Manson Murders
By TRAFALGAR
Who is Bernadine Dohrn? She's the prominent Chicago hostess who held Barack Obama's very first fundraiser at her lovely home. She's also a former member of the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list, an underground fugitive for ten years, and a domestic terrorist whose affection for violence is so deep that she publicly praised Charles Manson's famous murder spree?with particularly vivid appreciation for Manson's mutilation of the corpses.
Lately, Dohrn's husband and fellow terrorist, Bill Ayers, has been getting all the attention for his multiple connections with Obama. But Bernadine is a pretty piece of work, too. Her resum? includes the bombings of the U.S. Capitol on March 1, 1971, the Pentagon on May 19, 1972, and the home of New York State Supreme Court Justice Murtagh on February 21, 1970.
But perhaps nothing showcases Dohrn's lust for violence like the comments she made about the Manson murders in December 1969. Charles Manson and his harem of drug-addled hippie chicks had shocked the nation by their massacre of actress Sharon Tate, who was 8 ? months pregnant, three of Tate's friends, and supermarket executive Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary. Dohrn approved, speechifying in front of 400 people: "Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in their bellies. Wild!"
Dohrn is only one of a long list of bizarre, America-hating characters who have been central to Barack Obama's rocket-fueled rise. Today, she serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Law, Director, Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern Law School. How could a hard-core bomber who approved the murder and mutilation of a pregnant woman be teaching "Children and Family Justice"?
Well, that's Chicago. Barack Obama's Chicago.
