I just read that San Francisco has banned the free plastic shopping bags. So has Ireland and a few  other places. I was curious as to how this is working out?

uhm

a few weeks ago I actually lost food because of it
macdonald use paper bags and they tend to colapse in light rain
plastic is such a amazing invention
it take getting used to not having handles for shopping.
I have to remember to bring my own  bag for shopping.
it`s not too hard of a change since it`s the stores that have to deal with it not the customers.
but worst will come we`re getting more green stuff coming and it`s just gonna get more costly here and uncomfortable

Our city collects and recycles the bags.
