You are beyond unconvincing. You know less than nothing.

Lame, lame, lame.

It is obvious that there are only three possibilities: either there is a negotiated settlement, or one side is exterminated, or the situation remains the same. Carter is the one American who is likely to be taken seriously by Hamas, since the State Dept can disavow that they sent him or even approved his going there. There will be no end to the rocket attacks without a discussion, and no discussion is possible with Rice, since she is sucking up to the Zionists from the start and no Palestinian trusts her at all.

Who are Hamas supposed to consider weak? Carter? So what?

Israel can't make the rockets stop, and therefore they will continue unless there is a discussion.

I think that the point of te article is that some Hamas leaders   like the idea of exterminateing one side, and are not persuadeable otherwise.

Why should anyone be thinking that a negotiated settlement is possble with at least one side haveing no desire for it?

Duh! The point of the article is that Hamas are defective mutant evil beings. Now let us exterminate them, please, please?

Except not all of the Hamas leaders feel the same, and there are many Palestinians who are fed up with the Israelis, AND the PLO AND Hamas.

They said the same damned thing about the IRA Provos in Belfast 15 years ago.

Again, Israel cannot exterminate them, because for every one they kill, more rise to take their place. Unemployment is 50% in Gaza.
Israel cannot exterminate the Palestinians, for the same reason that Hitler could not exterminate the Jews.
There is world opinion against genocide these days, and it is also a major logistical nightmare.

The only solution is talking. Carter is the man. Go Jimmy!
