Title: Pelosi: No Impeachment of Bush

Nancy Pelosi is now on YouTube indicating there will be NO impeachment of President Bush WHEWN, yes WHEN, she is Speaker of the House.

Interesting, to say the least...Arrogant, aren't we? A little precipitous?

It's called damage control.

The dems put the role of speaker in the spotlight by demanding Hasterts head on a platter as a result of the Foley story. People are rightfully looking at who would likely be speaker if the dems prevail. I think that looksee is showing up in polls.

and thus her efforts to soften her image.

I wasnt too sure of Nancy til I heard this. Her point is that the public would start to hate the Dem congress as much as they now hate the Repub Cong for wasting time on an impeachment like they did. Besides we have better plans for W.

Not really. It's always good to see the opposition articulate their plans. Might even agree with one or two of them. Ya never know.
