I've got a redbud already.

I'm thinking that I need some crepe myrtle around.  My yard is mostly sunny but I think that a dogwood would really like it around here.  Right in the front yard out by the fence to break up the flatness of our house.

the picture is hilarious.

I just found this out yesterday
my city will most likely lode 16 mil. from those trees soon
one tree grew so large that the roots pushed part of a pavement up high enough to have a lady trip on it and is now permenatly paralyzed and sueing the city for negligence.

I relative of mine, far away and long ago (the statute of limitations has run out and he has died) once had land on which he got paid to rent a billboard (advertising cheap gas along I-75). Trees grew up in front of the billboard, and the ad agency did not want to rent the space anymore, as the billboards were covered from view by the trees, which were between the sign and the highway.

So he had a guy drive a copper nail into the tree, which, of course died. I am not sure of the number of copper nails that were needed, but copper is toxic to many plants.

I know that for a fact
the museum where i work has a copper exterior
every single plant that touches the building is wilting at the contact point.
It`s not very attractive.

I wonder would just 1 small copper nail stunt it`s growth or make it sickly?
not kill it but effect it`s health
