Over at DailyKos, they're acting like this is a great thing.  I don't know why though.

They should have held it in New Orleans.

 I havent read KOS , but this is a good thing because it represents a re-winning of the West. NO might have been a better symbol of Bushies failures, but upbeat trumps negativity at conventions.

I don't know about upbeat beating negativity.

To me, upbeat at this point is whistling past the graveyard.
