Investigators have a suspect — a Saudi Arabian national — in the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, The Post has learned.
Law enforcement sources said the 20-year-old suspect was under guard at an undisclosed Boston hospital.
Fox News reported that the suspect suffered severe burns.
It was not immediately clear why the man was hospitalized and whether he was injured in the attack or in his apprehension.
The man was caught less than two hours after the 2:50 p.m. bombing on the finish line of the race, in the heart of Boston.
In addition, Boston police have surveillance video of someone bringing multiple backpacks to blast site, according to CBS News.
Police also confirmed that there was a third explosion, at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. It was not immediately clear how much damage was done or whether it was related to the bombings at the marathon finish line.
The library bombing occurred about 4:30 p.m. and more than a mile from the marathon.
A law enforcement source confirmed to The Post that 12 people were killed and nearly 50 were injured in today's blast.

Jordan extremist praises Boston bombing

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) The head of an extremist Jordanian Muslim Salafi group said early Tuesday that he was "happy to see the horror in America" after the explosions in Boston.
"American blood isn't more precious than Muslim blood," said Mohammad al-Chalabi, who was convicted in an al-Qaida-linked plot to attack U.S. and other Western diplomatic missions in Jordan in 2003.
"Let the Americans feel the pain we endured by their armies occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and killing our people there," he said early Tuesday.
Al-Chalabi served seven years in prison for his part in the foiled attack. His group is outlawed in Jordan.
A Mideast counterterrorism official based in Jordan said the blasts "carry the hallmark of an organized terrorist group, like al-Qaida." He did not give actual evidence linking al-Qaida to the bombing.
"From the little information available, one can say it was a well-coordinated, well-targeted and near-simultaneous attack," he said. "Luckily, the amount of explosives used is small, judging from the casualty figure and explosion area."
A Jordanian security official said security was beefed up around the U.S. Embassy in Amman after the bombing in Boston.
"As the unfortunate news unfolded, we immediately stationed more police patrols around the embassy," he said. He declined to disclose any details, citing the sensitive nature of the information.
Both officials insisted on anonymity, as they were not authorized to brief reporters on security matters.

It is just plain stupid to claim that terrorism in Iraq is due to Islam, just as terrorism in Ireland was claimed to be religiously inspired. These are simply ethnic wars and struggles for power. Any Iraqi can clearly distinguish a Shiite from a Sunni or an Alawite, Druse or Christian by their name or surname or even their accent.
In Ecuador, I met George, a Syrian Christian who was illegally in the Los Angeles, where he was married to a Jewish woman,and deported back to Syria. He had a huge cross tattooed on his arm and had mixed feelings about the downfall of Assad, since the Alawites have been allies of the Christians ever since the French occupation.
Muslim individuals and people from Muslim groups commit terrorism and violence, just as Christians commit crimes in Christians countries. It has been a long time since this sort of thing has been officially endorsed by any religion in any official capacity. Iraqi and Syrian society is vastly more complicated than the culture of the US, because it goes back thousands of years.

I`m not saying he`s the guy. I`m pointing out I can`t spot him. Which is bad since my job is observing people and preventing them from harming property. It`s crazy hard to call a description. I did and got everything wrong except he/she looks suspiscious. not a typo I even got the sex wrong. they never let me down for that one in the museum.

Two Chechen brothers from Dagestan, members of a Wahhabi cell funded by Saudi al Qaeda, were identified as the terrorists who detonated two bombs at the Boston Marathon last Monday and carried out a bombing-shooting spree at the MIT campus in Waterton outside Boston, Friday, April 19, in which a police officer was killed.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, and Dzhohav Tsarnaev, 19, escaped the MIT campus in a hijacked SUV, chased by the police. As they threw explosives out of the window, critically injuring another police officer, police bullets hit the older brother, who died in custody. The younger one, identified earlier as ?Suspect 2 in the white cap? made a run for it.
Warning he is armed and dangerous, the police hunt has placed parts of Boston, Watertown and other outlying towns under curfew and suspended public transport. Hundreds of law enforcement officers, federal agents, national and state police backed by helicopters are scouring the area door to door, backed by helicopters, after warning people to stay home and not open the door to strangers.
The Boston police stress that the event is still ongoing and the investigation is closely coordinated with Washington.
The Chechen government denies the two brothers lived in their country and say the family left some years ago and finally settled in the United States. Boston officials report that the older brother has lived in the US for almost 10 years. The student won a scholarship in 2011 to study at a college in Cambridge.
The incident began with gun shots reported at 10:48 p.m. at Building 32 on Vassar Street near Main Street, off Kendall Square, when the two men armed with guns, explosives and wearing body armor were apparently about to seize the university building. The police officer who responded to the upset was shot dead.
The attack occurred shortly after the FBI released images of the two main Boston Marathon bombing suspects with an appeal to the public for information to identify them. Only later were they linked to the MIT event. A portrait photo of the wanted terrorist has just been released.
The FBI released Thursday images of two suspects filmed on the move at the site of the Boston Marathon bombings of Monday, April 15. The footage with stills has been widely distributed and an FBI Tipline set up. Public assistance in identifying the two youngish men is considered critical to the investigation.
Suspect 1 is shown wearing a black cap and, walking fast close behind him, Suspect 2 in a white cap. Both carry large black packages and both have Middle East complexions.
FBI Agent Richard Deslauriers who is in charge of the investigation said Suspect 1 planted the first bomb, while a few seconds later, Suspect 2 was filmed placing a package at the site of the second, more powerful bomb, and walking away very fast.
Both men are dangerous, he said, and should not be approached by the public
The images the FBI released of the two suspects have been floating around the Internet for the past 36 hours. Someone just sent me the video of the ABC coverage of the reporter's account of her conversation with the Boston Bomber's father. The sympathy was just dripping from the woman who conducted the phone interview as well as both reporters, Georgie and Diane Sawyer.
What is chilling, is if it had been the parent of an American Tea Party patriot, no such sympathy would've been on display. They would've interviewed all the neighbors until they found one that would say what they wanted to hear: he's crazy.
These mainstream media people are sickening. To quote the father; "they wouldn't hurt a flea."
Do you think they'd say that about one of the Tea Party members if that would've been the outcome?

I still remember how much people would greatly hesitate call timothy mcvey a terrorist. The concept of a local terrorist may still be too much of a unthinkable concept. Also a tea party attack is abit of a strecht for the moment. By my saying that is a good example how hard it is to believe in local terrorism.

If it were just about anyone else but Kimba, I'd say yes. I've been keenly observing the MSM for years now. There is absolutely no doubt that if these guys were Tea Party supporters, the MSM would be going apoplectic, trashing the Tea Party endlessly, feeling justified in their initial trashing efforts, and it would quickly go into tar and feather mode of prominant Tea Partiers, such as Palin. They'd also make the repetative effort to link the bombing then to GOP positions, and obviously the need for far more reaching government regulation, if not banning......of pressure cookers and "assault weapons"
But to address Kimba's reference, the MSM were very quick to refer to McVeigh as a Right Wing extremist. The couldn't come out fast enough in how Giffords shooter was "probably" a RW wacko. And following the Boston Bombing you had folks at NBC implying "this kind of bombing" looks alot like what RW militants would use. Minus any and all facts to the contrary of course

....and that's not to say there isn't any RW whack jobs, extremists, or militants. It's not to say such folks don't perform vile acts of violence or even terrorism.
It is to say, when/if that ever occurs, the MSM pulls out the paintbrush to paint all of conservatives or republicans as "the source" for their act. How many times have we heard the media try to link conservative talk radio and Fox news, to violent acts?? And yet, if some radical leftist nut job performs some act of violence or terrorism, that ideological bent is rarely referenced. It's either minimized, or deflected by the same folks who wold be like white on rice, if it were some tea party supporter.
Recent killer Christopher Dorner actually made reference to his admiration for the folks at MSNBC, and other liberal pundits. If he had referenced Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, it would have been 24/7 news, and a call that their shows be censored, or worse, because they were "obviously" the source of the hatred

Yesterday Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev answered questions from the FBI in writing due to a throat injury and according to the Associated Press, his answers indicate he and his brother were in fact motivated by radical Islam.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's answers led them to believe he and his brother were motivated by a radical brand of Islam without major terror connections, said U.S. officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation publicly.
Tsarnaev was interrogated and charged Monday in his hospital room, where he was in serious condition with the throat wound and other injuries suffered during his attempted getaway. His brother, Tamerlan, 26, died Friday after a fierce gunbattle with police.
Meanwhile up in Canada, authorities have thwarted another terror attack also motivated by radical Islam.
Canadian police said they foiled a plan to attack a passenger train in Toronto that they said was supported by al Qaeda operatives in Iran, and charged two men with conspiracy to carry out the alleged attack.
Investigators believe the train to be targeted was either bound for or leaving from New York, said a person familiar with the investigation.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said the two men planned to derail the train on Canadian soil, but the plot had been thwarted before it became an imminent threat to passengers.
At a news conference here Monday, a police spokesman said authorities believe the two men were receiving "guidance" and "direction" from al Qaeda-related elements in Iran. Al Qaeda has had a limited but potent presence in Iran, experts say, but such involvement in operations abroad would be a departure for the group.
