Math & Economics are not strong suits of liberal Democrats.  But they ace Creative Writing & Acting

I don't think Carson is a fake Black person. He appears to have been a competent brain surgeon. That does not make him an expert at running this country.
I think most Black people would agree that Barack Obama has done more for Black people than anyone except MLK. The opinion of some White guy from Texas who has never hired a Black person is not really the definitive one here.

Carson is obviously catering to the right wing  GOP fundamentalists that will be voting in the Iowa primaries.

And no different than Sanders & Clinton trying to out cater themselves to the Left Wing fringe fundamentalists that will be voting in the Democrat caucuses & primaries     ::)

Obama is not even a "real black" as far the American experience..
Obama is half white.
Obama was raised by rich white grandparents.
Obama attended mostly private and/or Lily White schools.
Obama was not raised in the ghetto or a poor struggling black neighborhood.
Obama's heritage has ZERO connection to the American Black slave experience.
None of Obama's blood relatives or family were descendants of US slaves.
All the above together add up to Obama not being any kind of US "real Black"

Obama has done more harm to US Blacks than any President in recent history.
Blacks have fallen further behind under Obama.
The unemployment rate dropped to 7 percent, but the jobless rate for blacks has hardly moved since Obama took office.
The poverty rate for blacks sharply increased, rising from 12 percent in 2008 to 16.1 percent.
Median income declined by 3.6% @ white households to $58,000, but fell 10.9% to $33,500 for black households.

The education gap is even more prevalent in urban centers such as Chicago.
According to the 2013 National Report Card, the gap in fourth-grade math test
scores between black and white students widened to 40 points, the largest gap since the national study began in 2003.

"The data is going to indicate sadly that when the Obama administration is over,
black people will have lost ground in every single leading economic indicator category
"

Black Leader Tavis Smiley

ps: wrong once again....I have hired numerous blacks and often choose to hire numerous black contractors.

  That is very strong!
In what sort of way do you mean?

     Anything specific?

Being elected senator from Illinois, for starters,

Being elected president, of course.  That was a REALLY BIG DEAL for Blacks.

It is not up to you to decide who is Black, by the way. He would not be mistaken for a White person by any American. Therefore he is Black. And of course, his wife is 100% American Black, and so are his children.

He has been an inspiration to Blacks, just as Kennedy was an inspiration to Irish and Catholics. He has given some very effective and insightful talks on race during his presidency which you would never understand, and he has at least brought down two wars to a point where very few of our soldiers are getting killed. He saved the American auto industry, which McCain would not have done, and he has avoided armed conflicts.

And of course, the economy and the Stock Market  were in terrible shape when he took over and the Stock market has risen over oits highest point and employment has improved. And now no one will have to go bankrupt because or previous health conditions.

A) Being elected to anything didn't accomplish anything for any black
B) Stock market means that more of the rich got richer....so that's what your "happy about" now?
B) The Economy is still in piss poor shape, and let's not even get into the status of our debt & deficit

Not really , if he had used this power positively it might be so , but being a high ranking placeholder does not put him in the league of Rev.Dr. MLK Jr.

And factually demonstrated in Cu4's post, under this President and his party's policies, has done the most to harm  blacks in this Country, since Jim Crow

  I was disappointed .

The Debate was about the moderators.
The Debate was about to the debate.
The Debate was about the race.

The issues got some mention, not too much.

My favorite and my runners up did pretty well , but were getting cut off a lot.

What if someone came to one of these events with a deep thought or an inspiring message?
You need to fight a moderator to get it said?

Christie is one of the candidates that I don't like much , but he dressed down the moderator and thus gained a point for me.
