You see C, for the left, it's not the subtance of what someone says, it's all about style & packaging

Ted Cruz has the wrong message, and it is poorly packaged as well.

He has no workable plan for either domestic or foreign policy. He is pretty much Donald Trump repackaged as a form of weasel.

Oh contraire...it's only wrong to socialists.  For America, and Americans in general, its fantastic.  And the packaging is all media, as in its how they keep trying to portray him

Sorry, but this jerk looks even more like a dumb shit when he does his own publicity photos.

And he sounds just like a cartoon duck.

Your Republicans-can-do-no-right-Tea Party-Conservatives-are-the-evils-of-human-existance opinion is duly noted.....and discarded for its exponential lack of any objectivity

I know a cartoon duck when i hear one.
Most of Cruz's fellow Republicans think he is an ass.

I'm a huge fan of many a cartoon duck....doesn't sound anywhere close to any of them.  Must be more of that alternate reality you're referring to again, where up is down, wrong is right, bad is good, etc.

And the "Republicans" he riles, are those entrenched politician-for-life establishment type, who need to be shown the door.  So, most grass roots conservative Republicans like myself, know that if they're upset, that's a GOOD thing

We don't actually NEED a president that pisses off most of the population.

Cruz is so odious that he has no chance of ever being elected president. I doubt that he will ever get elected for a second term, now that Mexican Americans know that he is not one of them.  His voice is irritating and his demeanor is annoying.

Of course we don't "need" one, but since we already HAVE one who not only pisses off most of this country, but has also pissed off the vast majority of our foreign allies, its a safe bet that a President Cruz would perform all the better

President Obama is respectful in his speeches of everyone. Cruz badmouths anyone he disagrees with.
But Obama was elected by a majority of the voters TWICE.
Cruz has zero chance or being president.
No one loves a smartass, but another smartass.
We shall soon see the percentages of Republican smartasses in Iowa.
I doubt it will be over 20%.

More of that alternate reality stuff I see.  Whenever he gets a chance, Obama is "badmouthing" Republicans, Conservatives, and even Christians, at every oppotunity.  He presents himself as extremely thin skinned, and about as arrogant as any primadona, insulting anyone that disagrees with him.

When Clinton was running in 2008, no one thought this upstart Senator from Illinois was going to get the nomination, much less get elected.  Could be history is repeating itself

The Iowa primaries will surely demonstrate that Cruz cannot get a majority.

Obama spoke of hope and change.

Cruz offers inaction, fear and hatred.

And as we all see now, Obama lied thru his teeth with his "hope & change" garbage

He certainly brought change.

Now everyone can get health insurance.

Very few Americans are dying in Iraq.

The American auto industry has been saved,

Much of the economy has recovered from the horrible mess Juniorbush made of it.

In any case, that is not the issue: as a campaign strategist, Cruz has nothing to offer.

Shutting down the government rather than compromising is NOT what Americans want.

Americans have come to despise Congress for doing nothing, and Cruz is the most famous advocate of inaction in  recent history.

He is a hate-filled prick who thinks his job is to put others down with feeble repartee that he thinks is witty.
