This is a lot of money anywhere, knowing where a high ranking leader of Al Queda is , is like holding a winning lotto ticket .

To get any enjoyment from this money will be difficult tho , the freinds of the slain leaders are still loose and packin. If these guys are not really good at keeping a secret, they might consider a vacation .

Haveing this money accepted might make it easyer for another informant to step forward , I would expect the remaining leaders to do everything they could to prevent infiltration and punish informants.

Meanwhile the police will openly brag about the number of infiltrators that they have emplaced , it doesn't need to be true.

Thirty years ago the FBI passed out pamplets in some places frequented by the KKK that claimed that every fourth member of the KKK was an informant, this wasn't true but it was paralizeing to an orginisation that depended so much on secrecy. The work of real informants was to warn the FBI of planned events and to lay bare the secrets of the leadership , the work of the imaginary informants was to destroy the  internal trust and brotherhood that the KKK was once the very nature of the KKK.
