Gallego is really the parent language of Portuguese and resembles it more than it does Spanish.

There were only a couple of words I did not understand. I know French, Spanish and have studied Old Spanish and Latin.

It is an nice story and well drawn.

Galicia is the province of Spain north of Portugal. Gallegos are descended  from the original Celtic Iberians that the Romans drove to the NW of the Peninsula.
Gallegos are cousins of the Gauls, the Britons, the Irish and the Scots.

I like this author, most of his stuff is fantasy in graphic novels.

He had a friend render this into this language, because the character is supposed to be Spanish and visiting home.

This is where the English version can be read.
