Ever hear of a "root kit"?
Well , you do not want one.
My computer suffered a total corruption of memory and finally failed to boot at all.
It is recovered , now, thanks to my wife finding the origional recovery disc set and paitiently feeding feeding it in.
I lost a lot of photos , I should have most of them back from the camera because I have not cleared it.
My credit card was pinged , I had to cancel it.
My cheifest suffering has been to be muzzled through the final day of the election and since.

If there is ever a referendum on the proper punishment for Cracker Hackers who write "root kit" programs , I shall vote that they be given a root canal, whether they need one or not.
