BT can you share an update with what is going on with our site?

Over the last several days it seems like the site is more often down or super duper slow.

Are we being attacked? On last leg of old technology? or are upgrades/conversions causing this?

BTW....thanks for all I am sure you are doing trying to keep us afloat.

Mostly we are under attack by hackers. Which puts a load on the server which slows us down.

We also seem to have some minor technical anomalies, whose cures will be used as a last resort.

Right now it seems fine.

oh BT...i just thought of something
i hope the hack attacks aren't indirectly my fault
about 3-4 weeks ago I started posting basically an ad for 3DHS in Yahoo Chat
in an  attempt to get some people over here....i have not done it in the last couple of weeks
but i was doing it everyday for a week or two last month.
could that publicizing of our website have contributed to hackers seeing a potential target in 3DHS?

I doubt it.

I get the feeling these attacks are more or less homework assignments for Muslim or Chinese students. Aggravating but less damaging than they could be.

not something i like to hear. But i agree with CU . why here of all targets. if it really is homework i hope they all fail.
