If the deer eat your glowing plant , will they become glowing deer?

I doubt it. When bats swallow fireflys, they do not become glowing bats.

I find glowing plants interesting, but I am not going to pre order any.

Being an early adopter of technology usually means two things: (a) you pay way more than others will later;  (2) you will not get as good a product.

Why would I want to eat glowing beans?

Would you?

If I were confident that the GM inducing bacteria were all killed I would .

Lots of American foods already contain GM ingredients , most of them are to increase yield or resist pest or otherwise facilitate farming, but a few have been made that improve nutrition.

The glowing feature is not really new , what is new is the availability to the public.

I might like to have a few glowing shrubs in the yard.

As long as I never start to glow myself.

I see no advantage to eating glowing food, and I don't think I am interested in eating it.

What about a decorative line of glow plants beside a walkway?

I would not oppose that. Or even a glowing goldfish or cat  I just would not want to eat them.
