Pretty Transparent double standard
« on: February 24, 2015, 04:42:04 PM »
Remember all those cries about the Rebublican'ts, the supposed party of obstruction, the supposed wall against anything to come out of DC....when in actuality it was merely the will of the people trying to put a stop to what the Democrats have been trying to force-feed the country its necessary "bad medicine"

Now, we got quite the twist.....Obama does, what he made painfully clear over 2 dozen times before that he couldn't, in passing his defacto amnesty legislation, via his executive order, outside the constitutional mandate of the legislative body, Congress.  The people, vote an overwheming victory to the GOP, and the GOP then performs its legislative function, by budgeting for all of Homeland security, EXCEPT for Obama's unconstitutional Amnesty effort.  So, you got that...the GOP has funded Homeland security, completely.  Nothing has been put to chance by not funding Homeland Security.

So, what do the Dems do?  They pull precisely what they kept erroneously claiming the GOP was doing....they're filibusting the Homeland security bill....the one that funds all of Homeland security, putting the country at risk.  Why?...because the Democrat legislators want to support the unconstitutional act of their Chief executive in undermining the legislative process, and specifically, their function as members of Congress

Isn't that a hoot

Kudos to CNN for its accurate headline -- "Senate Dems Block Homeland Security Funding Bill Again"

...the kicker being that it'd be the dems in apoplectic outrage mode, if a GOP President was usurping powers specifically bestowed upon the legislature...decrying "CONSTITUTION"...."SEPERATION OF POWERS"...."CHECKS AND BALANCES"...."WILL OF THE PEOPLE"
