I don't have real evidence, I could easily be wrong.

I have the impression that Novack has tweeked his writeing to cause trouble sometimes , perhaps he really isn't doing what it seems like to me.

Like when he  mentioned Valery Plame in print , why exactly did he want to do that?

I believe he mentioned her as background for a story, nothing more. In interviews about the story he's said he doesn't believe she was covert and because of that he didn't think using her name was any big deal.

I don't think Novak is much of a muck raker. He certainly has more integrity than just about any liberal journalist.

Novak is a tired old sap the Juniorbushies use to divulge "leaks".

He has not had any credibility, with anyone with a brain, for decades.

He is not a conservative so much as a lying asshole. Who can forget his stunning performance when he was first questioned about the Plame affair? He agreed to the interview, knowing full well what they would ask him, but when he was asked, he spluttered and blathered and got up and walked out.

A tool of the oligarchy, and not a sharp one, either.
