That bailout question was a home run?  Really?

It covered all the bases. Wall Street and Main Street need attention. Do you disagree?

I am thinking a 400 page bill is going to take rather a while to evaluate.
It's bad enough when they just limit the topic to the bailout, but they have hybrid cars, tax breaks and all sorts of stuff in there. Maybe even the Lawrence Welk birthplace National Monument as well.

Just forget it.

The bailout has absolutely fucking nothing to do with health insurance or job creation or any of the other stuff that she let fly with.

Covering all the bases is about as polite as you can put it.

She was asked about the bailout and she didn't answer anything to do with the bailout.  Any attempt to imply or spin it to imply that she did is insulting and frankly, beneath the dignity of discussion.  Worse still, I would never expect this kind of BS from you, BT.  Richpo or even sirs but I'm disappointed it is coming from you.

She was asked about the bailout and she didn't answer anything to do with the bailout.

She was asked if it wouldn't be better to give the bailout money to healthcare or to main street. She said that the bailout would help those.

This is, observe, a yes or no question: YES, it would be better. Forget the bailout, give the money to the people.
NO, the bailout is more important. Forget giving it to the people.

What she said was that it would be the equivalent of giving the money to the people. Give the money to the bankers, and BINGO! the people will have healthcare, Jobs will be created.

And that just ain't; so.

When banks fail, it affects many other businesses, including health care.

What she said was the bailout was a part of a total comprehensive solution that included the problems of main street and wall street.
