What would you want to pay to have your name inscribed on a building?

Should it be a couple of milllion more if the name is long , hard to pronounce or humor invoking?

Mitch Madique has a tendency to engage his large, flapping mouth before his brain is engaged. When some old rich fool wants to perpetuate his name by pissing away several mill, any college president should worship his shoes.

Luckily, people with names like Goldfisch,  Czgolsz or Lipshitz rarely engage in donations of this sort.

I recall when I was getting some oral surgery done at Virginia Commonwealth U., the two head oral surgeons on hand were named Dr Payne and Dr Hurt, and they were constantly being paged.

I don't think that they would be likely to finance a new dental building called Hurt and Payne Hall, but it would be interesting to see how must that might cost.

Hurt and Payne for the Dental school. Boyle, Kramp and Suffern for the med school. Dewey, Cheatham and Howe for the law school.

There was once a funeral home in Shamrock, TX, named Killough and Hollem (pronounced kill off and haul 'em)
