Trust is the most important factor in all this.
This morning I was listening to a local right wing talker on the radio and he was actually trying to get with the program because his lady on there that reads the news was an Obama supporter.
His comment was that, as a conservative, Obama scares him but he was trying to trust him.
I think that is widespread right now. I have one really good friend who lives outside of Pittsburgh. I talked to her the day before the election and she sounded literally panicked. My wife has a really good friend from college (whom I detest) who, prior to the election was sending my wife every pathetically false forward she got regarding Obama's being a socialist and a muslim. She has settled down now that the win was so overwhelming but I doubt she is ever going to be conciliatory.
