The technique is very cool.

Pretty much anything other than a guy with a pistol would be a more artistic subject.

Politicly flawed art.

The Notorious Glass Kats.

The Glass Kats also offer custom pieces anywhere from iconic portraits to elaborate door inlays and windows. They can create a glass portrait of the family pet, your favorite sports icon, your classic hot rod, The beautiful Gretsch Hollowbody Juice covets, or your dear Grandpa John. Each piece is a one of a kind. Glass Portraits cannot be made into prints or replicas. They are true collector’s pieces. Each portrait is numbered by the artists’ creations sequence rather than copy.

I would not call it politically flawed art.
A better term would be "tacky".

Were I to see any of these in a yard sale for $5.00, I would pass on it, unless I knew someone who would pay me at least twice that.

If  Warhol's tomato soup cans were a ten (and I would rate them a 2), these would be about a 3.

Art should inspire: these bore me after 15 seconds.

Again, a great technique, and no doubt hard to do, but far tackier than the tackiest stained glass window.

They are willing to use the tecnique at a clients discretion.

What portrait or emblem would you think was well suited to stained glass like these?

In theroy of course , at their prices , any talk of buying one is theoretical.

An arctic landscape or an abstract image would be best, in my opinion. It's maybe more artisanry than art.
