Carrie Fisher Book: Ted Kennedy Asked Me Sex Questions During Date With Chris Dodd

Carrie Fisher, of Star Wars' Princess Leia fame, went on a date with then-Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd in 1985, she writes in her new book, "Shockaholic." Dodd invited the late Sen. Ted Kennedy to join them, and things got weird -- quickly.

"Suddenly, Senator Kennedy, seated directly across from me, looked at me with his alert, aristocratic eyes and asked me a most surprising question. 'So,' he said, clearly amused, 'do you think you'll be having sex with Chris at the end of your date?'" Fisher writes.

Dodd appeared embarrassed.

"Chris Dodd looked at me with an unusual grin hanging on his very flushed face," Fisher writes, before detailing her response. "'Funnily enough, I won't be having sex with Chris tonight,' I said, my face composed and calm. 'No, that probably won't happen.' People blinked. 'Thanks for asking, though.'"

But Kennedy wasn't done yet.

"'Would you have sex with Chris in a hot tub?' Senator Kennedy asked me, perhaps as a way to say good night?"

"'I'm no good in water,' I told him."

Why is it a big joke when Kennedy sexually harassed women, but you want to crucify Herman Cain for only allegedly doing so? Your comment suggests Kennedy sexually harassed a lot of women.

Which is relevant how? He was given a pass his entire career. Which can be interpreted to mean that those aghast at sexual harassment allegations really don't give a damn about the women or the men in Obama's case, but are more interested in the mud slinging and damage control they hope to do to those opponents they fear the most.

     I was very irritated with Kramer I support the idea of a penalty box time.

     I didn't think you were totally innocent but just better off, not as bad, worse provoked,  not as bad etc . etc....

Well, BT, if you're asking me if I'm up for going after a creep that insults veterans, who were wounded while serving this country, in the manner in which Kramer does? The answer is, you bet. And if you're asking me if I'm up for going after some poster from snowblower land who likes to call Vietnam veterans genocidal maniacs? The answer is, you bet. And if you're asking me if I'm up for going after those who shelter them, like Bush going after those who sheltered terrorists? The answer is, you bet.

Other than that my intention is just to post like everyone else.
