Under the current circumstances, works for me.

As Coulter was impressing in a recent op-ed, the 2 biggest issues that a new ALTERNATE President MUST address is spearheading the repeal of Obamacare, before its tentacles become afixed to enough of the population to impeded such an action, and to deal with the ongoing worsening of the illegal immigration migration.  She seems to believe Romney has the necessary prerequisates to tackle both

For this country's sake & economic recovery, I sure hope so

SIRS....I like him & I think he is our best chance to win in November.
Mitt will be hard to paint as a "rightwing whacko".

The Unions, Leftists, Network Media, NY Times, & Unproductive are gonna come out swinging.
This will be a bloody...nasty as hell campaign.
They dont want their "free" goodies disturbed.

Many conservatives expect this will be easy because Obama has been such a failure.
What they fail to realize is no matter how bad it is...the freebie seekers will vote Obama.
Plus I really think the Taxocrats will know their only chance will be drop Biden & add Hillary.
They will come out like "ahh this is a new day with Hillary" and pretend it's all fresh & new.

Some conservatives complain about Romney....but who is perfect?
Even Reagan was far from perfect.
What did Reagan do when Hebollah blew up our Marines in Lebanon?
Reagan...cut and run.
Reagan also agreed to some big Illegals Amnesty Plan.
Reagan appointed Sandra Day O'Connor...not exactly a real conservative.
The point being....if Reagan wasn't perfect why does Mitt need to be?

Oh my, we ain't seen nothing yet.  Just wait until they start playing the race card, at full speed, and watch how the media will pick and pick and pick at his Mormon religion, while they pretty ignored Obama's and Rev. Wright.  At least until after the election.

But didn't you get the memo?  The RW apparently now has this powerful infrastructure of media & information outlets, running across the spectrum of Television & Academia.  Shall we alert the Press?     ;)

Romney will be the last Republican President just like Fillmore was the last Whig President.

Reagan...cut and run.
=========================================
How long would the "Perfect Reagan" have occupied Lebanon, and why?

By the way, very soon after Reagan got the Marines out of Lebanon, where their mission was just to guard the airport, Reagan invaded the large, sinister nation of Grenada.

Sending the Marines to Lebanon was dumb. Removing them was one of few wise things that the doddering old geezer did.

Rassmussen:

Romney 45 Obama 39

Romney/Christie?

That hasn't been polled yet but I would give it Romney/Christie 52 Obama/Biden 45

Outside of the completely irrelevancy of that opinionated assessment, you could literally apply Obama's entire presidential career as "dumb", however that's not even close to what it really is.  Wreckless at least, Dangerous at worst

How long would the "perfect" Reagan have kept the Marines in Lebanon?

You allege that Reagan was not "perfect", a statement I agree with most wholeheartedly, but them you characterize his wise decision to withdraw them as an imperfection.

Watch and see. Romney will be chosen, Paul, Jonson or some Libertarian will grab off the anti Mormon types, the 'bagger fools who think Romney is not stupid enough to carry our their lame plans to balance the budget through tax cuts and eliminating the grant for cowboy poetry, Obama will be triumphantly reelected, and Mitch McConnell might appear on the tube and his head will explode at over the place, leaving skull fragments and defective gray matter and goo all over the House chamber. leaving only the end of his spine sticking up through his collar.

For as long as needed. See Germany. See South Korea.
Certainly sends a great message to "cut & run" after an attack!

You're a hater...so your opinion and thoughts about Reagan are unimportant to me,
especially Reagan's very unwise decision to cut & run that has in the long run
emboldened enemies and thus cost many more lives.

eliminating the grant for cowboy poetry, Obama will be triumphantly reelected, and Mitch McConnell might appear on the tube and his head will explode at over the place, leaving skull fragments and defective gray matter and goo all over the House chamber. leaving only the end of his spine sticking up through his collar.

dude you are either really weird or starting down the road of dementia...maybe both
