Romney stomps the cr@p out of the Newtster
« on: January 31, 2012, 11:55:57 PM »
Romney defeated the Newtster with a 15 point lead.

I hope Gingrich stays in, because he is needed to badmouth the Mittster so the Democrats won't have to.

The commercials here were riotously stupid and slanderous, but still sort of true.

That sure doesn't bode well for Obama.  Sorry, Xo

Romney is the poster child for the idle rich 1%.

He has no plan to create jobs. Corporate vulturehood is not the solution.

It will be amusing to see him go down in smoke & flames.

Romney is the poster child for the idle rich 1%.

Can't wait to see how the GOP dismantles that tactic, as Obama is also part of that "idle rich 1%", as is Pelosi, as are so many other Democrats that Obama is going to call on, to do his hypocrtical smearing attempts

Pelosi did not dismember companies and bankrupt them to get rich like Romney, and she does not argue that the rich should get tax breaks for being "job providers" even though history has shown that they do NOT create jobs.

Pelosi is not running for president, either.

What tax breaks are the rich getting? They already pay more than any other quintile.

what a crock!

so if a company is in trouble
and you liquidate the fat
take actions that must be taken
and make it profitable again
thats to be demonized?

better to face reality
than the lame ass prop-up of a dying failing company with tax dollars
Obama encourages & props of bad business decisions with other people's money
which is immoral

if Bain Capital is so "evil" why did Obama just
appoint a Bain Capital guy as head of OMB?

You're class warfare is gonna be a big loser in the Fall.

Vulture capitalists do not normally buy failing companies. They buy propsperous companies, with money in their accounts. They buy the company, loot the treasury, sell the facilities to a leasing corporation and turn the company into a renter rather than an owner.

I hardly think that the fact that someone once worked for Bain was the reason they hired him.

I fail to see why most voters would favor a fatcat idle rich guy like Romney. They will never become capitalists. It makes as much sense for the average American to elect this guy o9t any damn Republican as it would for a chicken to vote for Colonel Sanders.

Can you provide multiple examples with sources where Romney did all this you described?

I hardly think that the fact that someone once worked for Bain was the reason they hired him.

So it's ok to demonize Romney over Bain, but ok if your name is Obama to appoint guys to run the OMB
that worked in mgt at Bain supposedly being "vultures"?

I fail to see why Americans would favor a community organizer that never held a
real job or had any executive experience in his life. Hopefully they've learned it
doesnt pay to hire someone to run the country thats never run anything in his life.

Facts dont lie!
It's obvious it's time for someone that has executive experience & has actually run something.

Facts to a hard core cool-aide drinking Obama supporter is like Kryptonite to superman.  Notice the inability to respond to the direct question on What tax breaks are the rich getting?   Renders them to the point where all they can do to respond is call their opponents all kinds of names...greedy, vultures, fatcats, racists, and that oh so dreaded word....."rich"

Everyone KNOWS what tax breaks the rich are getting.

A low rate on capital gains of 15% even for hedge fund managers commissions.

A break of 4% on the top rate that was removed by Juniorbush.

Obama, of course, has three years experience and will have four at being president. Romney has none. Beinng a governor is hardly the same. Running a vulture capitalist liquidation scheme is not at all the same.

All economists agree that this sort of recession requires more than four years to recover from. It will take even longer Romney is elected, because he has no plan. Other than "let them foreclose".

Everyone KNOWS what tax breaks the rich are getting.

No, they don't.  Please share for the class and those that don't

A low rate on capital gains of 15% even for hedge fund managers commissions.

AFTER the 30+% those $$'s were taxed to begin with, when it was 1st income

A break of 4% on the top rate that was removed by Juniorbush.

Which still makes "the rich" paying FAR more in both amounts and %'s.  News Flash....its' just a fraction of that 1% that live purely off their dividends.  The rest of that 1% still pay HIGHER income taxes than anyone else

Obama, of course, has three years experience and will have four at being president. Romney has none. Beinng a governor is hardly the same. Running a vulture capitalist liquidation scheme is not at all the same.

Prior to his Presidency, he had zero experience as an executive, zero experience as a President, and zero experience running any business, much less a country.  And being a governor is precisely the type of executive experience that any President would embrace.   What experience did Clinton have again??  Carter??  The best presidents tend to be governors, while the worst tend to be legislators.......especially senators

And please demonstrate that Romney's SOP was functioning as a Vulture Liquidation Capitalist.  Leftist rhetoric might work on the ignorant, but facts will actually rule the election

All economists agree that this sort of recession requires more than four years to recover from. It will take even longer Romney is elected, because he has no plan. Other than "let them foreclose".

No, not "all".  And many of those economists will also tell you Obama's policies will prolong such a recovery FAR longer than 4 years, than if the Government didn't do anything.

Romney and the GOP DO have a plan.  Contrary to the garbage the left keeps tryiong to push, they've ALWAYS had a plan.  Kinda hard to impliment anything with a President and congress that won't allow any of their plans to ever see the light of day

A plan that never sees the light of day!

So THAT'S it! How clever!

Nixon only said he had a secret plan to leave Vietnam (peace with honor, he called it), and it was soooooo  secret we still do not know what it was.

Now we have a double secret plan. Like Niedermeyer in the "Revenge of the Nerds" film.

That was double secret probation, but it was the same concept.

The Republicans don't have sh!t. They prefer high unemployment. The less for the majority of have-nots, the more for the glorious haves at the top.
