Question about Ted Cruz
« on: February 01, 2013, 02:06:51 PM »
Hello all. I've been busy with work and really haven't had time to post. I have a question about Ted Cruz. I was very impressed with his dismantling of Chuck Hagel yesterday at the confirmation hearing for SecDef. Cruz was born in Canada as far as I know. Is he eligible to run for president?

Unless your parents are diplomats, you have to be born in the US.

Ted Cruz is a dork and a screamer. He is unqualified to even be a senator.

Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where his parents, Eleanor Darragh and Rafael Cruz, were working in the oil business.[8][9] His father, in 1957 during the Cuban Revolution, was a Cuban immigrant to the United States.[10] His mother, an American, was reared in Delaware, in a family of Irish and Italian descent.[9][11] Cruz's family returned the U.S. when he was four years old.[10]

So yes he is.

Seriously.........look at this ongoing theme, as reinforced by messers B & Xo.  If "the left" spends some time formulating a position, or posts a story/article related to an issue supportive, rarely do you ever see "the right" respond with "you scum sucking commie fascist", or "he's a stupid piece of left wing dogpoo".  No, the worse you get is perhaps an attacking of the messenger, via some criticism, but in general, its an effort to refute what's being claimed with facts, common sense, and/or logic to the contrary.

And yet, when the roles are reversed, and "the right" produces positions or opinions, backed up with facts and/or logic, "the left" just opens up....personal derrogatory insult, after insult, after insult, after insult.  Rarely, do you see "the left" make any attempt to refute positions with facts.  it's generally with their self perceived know-it-all say so, and you don't agree, then its just more personal derrogatory insult, after insult, after insult.  See Piers Morgan or any MSNBHeeHaa "news show" for some televised versions

Is "the left" THAT devoid of both maturity and intellectual honesty?

This guy is just a posturing asshole. He claims that because Jews in the 1930's and 1940's were victims of inhumane treatment by the Nazis, that means that Netanyahu and the Israelis 50 years later are incapable of war crimes. Detention without trial, torture, bombing civilians, destroying water treatment plants and causing diseases and death in Gaza are clearly war crimes and the Israelis are GUILTY AS SIN.

Cruz is a chickenshit and a posturing ratbag rightwing teabagging asshole.

May God rot Ted Effing Cruz!

See what I mean...fantastic validation of precisely what I jst referred to....just launch right in to the name calling, followed by irrational rationalizations, as if you know exactly what he was thinking, and that it was impossible for Israel to have perpetrated any war crimes, as if their enemies haven't been doing far worse.....and then topped off with more name calling.  Good gravy, no wonder so many have left the saloon if this is the best the left can do

And watch any "rebuttal", expect precious little substance, but chalk full of more uncivil immature name calling

Cruz's father was part of the Cuban crime wave. He worked for the mafia in Havana and when Castro took over he had to come to America. His real name was Cruzario.  Ted lives in Texas as a lieutenant in a Columbian drug cartel.  He got into politics to expand the cartels power.

There will be no settlement of the Palisrael problem so long as the US is seen as inseparable from Israel. There will be no settlement during the first term of any US president. That is why Netanyahu wanted Romney elected: he doesn't really want a two state solution: he wants to grab ALL of the West Bank, and only gives lip service to the only real settlement. Hegel, perceived as NOT yet another suckup to the Zionists.is the ideal man for the job. Cruz is too damned stupid to see this. He is ignorant of foreign policy and in this hearing is only posturing, just like McCain was doing.

Cruz is incompetent and a bumbling chickenshit.

There will be no settlement of the Palisirael problem so long as one of them (Pali) doesn't see an end to the conflict until the other (Israel) is removed from the equation.  The U.S. has very little to do with that, as Israel can easily take out any country that tries taking them out

Let's watch for it.........

And there it is.  3rd grade name calling barrage, right on cue.  That must have been a festive & feisty language class you taught

Strangely, what I did was teach Spanish. I did not discuss politics. If any ofmy students were as nutty as you are, they did not reveal this to me.
