So what?

When they were used as scab laborers, that makes perfect sense.

For those who care.....

Bing celebrated Easter on their home page yesterday.

Amazing to ignore one of the most influential lives that ever walked the face of the earth.

I am going to try and slowly transition away from Google, although at this point it will not
be entirely possible.....but every little bit helps.....just like I have stopped going to Starbucks.

Good idea.  May the transition flow fluidly   8)

The actual Jesus was not the same person that Paul hyped.

The actual Jesus was only minimally interested in Gentiles and never actually claimed to be the Messiah, which was wise, being as he did not fit the predictions of what the Messiah was supposed to be.

Doesn't that describe a lot of them?

Chavez has been dead for a long time, and all this happened in the 60's and 70's  The growers hired illegals to break the UFW strike. There is nothing illegal or immoral in Chavez getting la migra to send the illegals back. His obligation was to the members of his union.

I fail to see why Google, Bing or anyone else should have an obligation to celebrate your religion or any other. I fail to see how your boycotting Google could cause them to find Jesus, either.

What would the purpose be for boycotting Google, then?

Why must a corporation celebrate your religion to deserve your business?

Right now, at this very minute, most of the clothes and shoes all of you are wearing were made by people who don't love Jesus.

Principle

Why must a corporation celebrate your religion to deserve your business?

News Flash Professor Strawman, acknowleding a tradition, especially one as grand as Easter isn't "celebrating it"

Right now, at this very minute, most of the clothes and shoes all of you are wearing were made by people who don't love Jesus.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with anything being debated in this thread    ::)

You are saying that Google does not deserve your "business" because they did not post what you consider a holy picture for a moveable religious holiday (Easter is somehow connected to the phases of the Moon), rather than Cesar Chavez birthday, which happens on the same date every year.

Why not insist that EVERYONE you do business with acknowledge Easter? Out of principle, of course.

Why is it that Jesus birthday is always celebrated based on a the same calendar date, while the dates of his death and alleged resurrection are tied to the phases of the Moon?
