Because you have identified yourself as a Republican.

You mean you cannot imagine me voting for a Democrat , no matter how appealing?

You have no idea how little time I dedicate to thinking about what other people might do.

What would be the point of this?

I think I could vote against my favoriate party , if the canadate were especially good .

Kerry is an example of what is undesireable about the Democrats.

Fatcats apeing the little guy, on my side in word but not in deed.

And Juniorbush playing pretend cowboy, chopping his brush did not produce the same result for you?

Politicians do silly things to get votes, like visiting Mexicans and putting on a sombrero, visiting the Rez and putting on a warbonnet. These are theatrics, and have nothing to do with how the politician will run the country.

Bush could do what Kerry was trying to do.

Bush could fish with a rod he had made old.

Reagan could ride an actual horse , and you cannot lie to a horse.

If you do not know why going into the swamp in the middle of the day wearing new clothes and coming out with a goose a little while later is rediculous , I despair of telling you ... but..

There is this bridge in Brooklin , that I have been looking to sell, to the right kind of buyer, .....

Guess what?

I DON'T CARE.

I can think of nothing less important to me.

Reagan had to learn to ride a horse to get the part in one of his many forgettable films. So what?

How do you tell when a big phoney is apeing you to gain your confidence?

You don't think Reagan ever rode before his films?

Quote
Tuesday's tumble from a horse was the latest twist in Reagan's longtime passion for horses, which held a place of special prominence during his presidency.

Reagan first took up riding as a young sportscaster in Des Moines, Iowa, in the 1930s and maintained the hobby throughout his political career.

Hey I didn't know precicely this either, but I knew when I saw him ride , that he was not just posturing.

I can ride a horse.  I can ride a mule. When I was 13, I rode a burro up Pike's Peak. So what.

None of this qualified me to do anything.

When I vote for a president, I think it is beyond stupid to evaluate him on whether he hunts geese or wears canvas pants with sufficient sincerity.

That is just stupid.

"Kerrys Charade was very clear indication that he was trying to impress the common man with his commoness,"

Didn't Romney campaign in jeans? I believe he did.

Yes, and Romney campaigned in new, carefully pressed jeans.

The sort of thing always worn by trend-setting, stylish corporate vultures when they fly to the Caymans with bags of cash.

Yes it is stupid, that is why I did not say that.

What I said is that Kerry insulted my intelligence.

Apparently he gauged yours better.

Yep , but even though Romney was never my favoriate , I didn't get as much big phony vibe from him as I did from Kerry.

Jeans are not what I am talking about anyway,Kerry wore Carhart hunting togs that were matched and new , he hunted for what ten minutes and emerged from the swamp with a goose.

None of that strikes you as staged?
