They were the better team, and earned the World Cup.  Argentina had their chances, but Germany was the better team

Of course, if this was an American version of the World Cup, we'd have to take half a goal a way from Germany, and give it to Argentina, because I'm sure there are many who would be offended at the results, if left as is     ;)
