Happy Holidays to all. I've re-relocated back to Amman and am settled in over here...

...and I went to Christmas Eve Mass in Bethlehem.  ;D

Wow.

Awesome Ms. Henny!!
I smell something burning, hope it's just my brains.
They're only dropping peppermints and daisy-chains
So stuff my nose with garlic
   Coat my eyes with butter
   Fill my ears with silver
   Stick my legs in plaster
   Tell me lies about Vietnam.

Sounds good.

National Geographic recently published an rather meloncoly article about Bethelem and the people who live in and near it.

What did it look like to you?

Hi Lanya,

I did get rid of them... for the 8 months I was in the U.S. It was bizarre - they disappeared the minute I got back to Michigan. I'm waiting to see if they come back now that I'm Jordan.  :-\

Well, it was the most festive time for the year in Bethlehem (of course) and everything looked wonderful. My answer might be different if I visited at a different time of year, you know?
