Most people can't get a job that pays $100 a night, nor do most waiter jobs pay that much other than on weekends.
If you think this is easy, I suggest you try it.

My daughter would routinely come home with $100 in tips a night when she was a waitress at Steak and Shake.

Perhaps it is more a function of how polite she was to her customers than your personal experience?

i know college kids that easily make a hundred
dollars a night waiting tables a few nights a week
________________________________________
that`s $200 aweek
rounded off to $850/month

$500+100+25=$625
so It`ll be 225 month maximun
i say this because I didn`t factor tax and the high cost of being in california
so food will be higher and rent will cost more
____________________________________________-

The qoute is
if someone can't scrape together $2500 it
could be a sign that they shouldn't be there
in the first place.

doesn`t mean the poor which is usually people who can`t scrape $2500
___________________________________________________________-
$100 anight in tips!!
that`s actually very good.

I know several people that wait tables and they make $80-$100 every night
sometimes more on weekends. People may need to get a personality when
they are working as a waitor. Give excellent service! Work their ass off
to please people. Too many people have the shitty attitude and
cant suck it up and work with pride. It shows in their tips. No
people aren't tight, you(not you XO) just dont give a damn and it shows.
Look in the mirror! When I was a dishwasher making
$1.80 an hour I was the best freaking dishwaher at the restaurant.
I didn't stand around whining "this sucks". My next job was a mailroom,
I took pride and tried to be the best. I challenged myself to get more
stuff boxed with postage than anyone else. I painted address numbers
on curbs back in 1979, and easily made $100 a day. Freakin 1979
a teenager making $100 a day. $2500 in 2008?  ::)

If your on the clock take pride in whatever it is your doing.
In most cases excellence will take of everything else.

If you think this is easy, I suggest you try it.

That the problem EXACTLY!
You liberals think things should be "easy".
It is relatively easy to make $2500 in a short time working a 2nd job.
But no work is not "easy", thats why they call it work.
If a student wants to go to Stanford and it requires they pay a tiny fraction of $2500
then if they are not disabled, they need to get off their ass and get to work!
get a second job
i know a guy that works 3 jobs
whatever it takes.

At least you acknowledge that
It seems like people don`t know what hard work is.
people act like sleep is a sign of lazyness
one of the dumbest expression I hear as a kid is yawning means you got too much energy, you need to work some more.
strangely I hear this from europeans mostly.

the only thing I remember now is how capture a rabid dog with my shoelaces
and handle a dew claw remover
I hated fecal analysis
tv shows make medicine glamorous

Ok Kimba thank you for sharing.
I have heard that is a very difficult curriculum.
Best of luck with your studies.

NO NO NO No
I gave it up years ago
if i ever go back to school ,it`ll be in accounting
talking with the folks here has peaked my math interest big time and I might go into that field.
I love doing math alot more than taking a cat`s temp.
