3DHS / PS George HW Bush Helped Kill Kennedy
« on: October 23, 2006, 05:30:06 PM »
I haven't been able to do a real post on this but I wanted to get it out here and get y'all's opinions.

I can't link to it because YouTube is blocked where I'm working now but if you go there and look for a video about George Bush and Kennedy, it's really fascinating.  It's an hour and a half long but worth the watch.

As a secret member of the CIA and the owner of Zapata Oil, Bush was heavily tied to the anti-Castro Cubans who hated Kennedy and wanted him dead after the Bay of Pigs which Bush was a major operater in.  The name of the Bay of Pigs invasion???  OPERATION ZAPATA.

Hoover received a briefing from Bush after the failed invasion and did a memo on it.  So, we know he was in the CIA back WAAAAAY before he claims he was.

3DHS / Bush: [Weve Always Been the 'Cut and Run' Types]
« on: October 23, 2006, 11:44:02 AM »
So, now, after months and months of you guys on the right saying that if you don't want to "STAY THE COURSE", then you want to "CUT AND RUN", here, your Moron-in-Chief now says that "Well, listen, we've never been "stay the course"".

How far down into the bullshit will you guys follow this guy?  I'm sure RR and sirs will immediately defend Bush and try to split the difference but its plain and simple.  Over and over again he said that he (and the "nation") would "stay the course".  Now, he's saying "I never said that".  Will you guys finally realize that the jig is up?  Or will you now turn off the psychic circuit breaker and cross over into utter stupidity and defend Bush's statement?

I'm betting the latter.  Simply because you will not want us on the left to be correct that BushCo is full of lies and will lie no matter what.

Have a great day!

Bush: Well, listen, we’ve never been “Stay the course,” George
By: John Amato on Sunday, October 22nd, 2006 at 8:37 PM - PDT
George Bush appeared on THIS WEEK today (he's making the rounds before the election) and answered avoided a few questions about the Iraq war and his handling of it. Isn't it interesting that Stephanopoulos never followed up on Bush's sudden memory lock: "We've never been stay the course"?  I seem to remember him and his cultists repeating that mantra over and over again—so a follow-up question was needed, but as usual, forgotten.

Video-WMP Video-QT

BUSH:  Well, listen, we've never been "stay the course", George. We have been, "We will complete the mission, we will do our job and help achieve the goal, but we're constantly adjusting the tactics"…

Emailer Doug:

BUSH: We will stay the course. [8/30/06]

BUSH: We will stay the course, we will complete the job in Iraq. [8/4/05]

transcript below the fold

BUSH: We will stay the course until the job is done, Steve. And the
temptation is to try to get the President or somebody to put a timetable on
the definition of getting the job done. We’re just going to stay the
course. [12/15/03]

BUSH: And my message today to those in Iraq is: We’ll stay the course.
[4/13/04]

BUSH: And that’s why we’re going to stay the course in Iraq. And that’s
why when we say something in Iraq, we’re going to do it. [4/16/04]

BUSH: And so we’ve got tough action in Iraq. But we will stay the course. [4/5/04]

Lieberman Leads in Lamont's District
A University of Connecticut poll shows Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) leading Ned Lamont (D) 42% to 39%, in his home district, the 4th congressional district. Alan Schlesinger (R) barely registers at 4%.

Says pollster Monika McDermott: "The most noticeable thing is, at least in Fairfield County, it's like the Lieberman-Lamont race is only between two candidates, and Lieberman is the Republican."

3DHS / Really Interesting Site on JFK Assassination
« on: October 08, 2006, 12:05:00 AM »
Of course, [link=http://www.jfkmurdersolved.com/presentation.htm]this site[/link] will be poo'poo'ed and derided by everyone with closed minds, but it has a lot of tidbits that I didn't know that aren't immediately associated with the Kennedy Assassination.

For instance:

Who considered Richard Milhouse Nixon his protege'?  Answer:  Prescott Bush

J Edgar Hoover wrote a memo about a week after the JFK murder, that talked about "misguided" Cuban exiles.  Guess whose name was mentioned in that memo?  Answer:  George Bush (of the Central Intelligence Agency).

One of Prescott Bush's best buddies was a spy for the Nazis by the name of George Demohrenschildt.  GD went on to, of course, become a CIA operative out of Dallas, TX.  Guess who one of his new best friends was?  Answer:  One Lee Harvey Oswald.  GD actually got him the job at the book depository.  GD was a millionaire.  LHO made like $2 an hour at the book depository.

Lots more there.

Ashcroft chartered plane after same warning Condi ignored
by blue meme
Wed Oct 04, 2006 at 01:13:26 PM PDT

The White House is in full panic mode trying to find a way to spin the now-admitted fact that George Tenet did indeed brief Condi Rice on July 10, 2001 about the terror threat.  The latest damage control approach has been to claim that the report was "nothing new".

So how come when then-Attorney General John Ashcroft heard the same warning a week later, he immediately stopped flying commercial aircraft?

    * blue meme's diary :: ::
*

Christy Hardin Smith at FDL runs down a bunch of the story of the July 10, 2001 terror briefing Condi somehow failed to remember.  She also touches on the fact that George Tenet gave the same warning to John Ashcroft exactly a week later.

It seems to me that we ought to be asking whether that story has anything to do with this one, dated July 26, 2001:

Fishing rod in hand, Attorney General John Ashcroft left on a weekend trip to Missouri Thursday afternoon aboard a chartered government jet, reports CBS News Correspondent Jim Stewart.

In response to inquiries from CBS News over why Ashcroft was traveling exclusively by leased jet aircraft instead of commercial airlines, the Justice Department cited what it called a "threat assessment" by the FBI, and said Ashcroft has been advised to travel only by private jet for the remainder of his term.

"There was a threat assessment and there are guidelines. He is acting under the guidelines," an FBI spokesman said. Neither the FBI nor the Justice Department, however, would identify what the threat was, when it was detected or who made it.

Got that?  July 17 -- Ashcroft briefed.  July 28 -- Ashcroft flies in a charter, leased, according to the article, earlier that week.

Seems to me this could be another blockbuster.  If Ashcroft decided that commercial flights were too dangerous based on the same warning as Rice (who presumably wasn't flying commercial flights either) ignored, we have ourselves some rather dramatic evidence of callous indifference and willingness on the part of the Bush Administration to put the preservation of their own hides before their duty.  It will be tough for Rice to argue that the briefing was nothing new if it scared Ashcroft away from flying with commercial airlines.

http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Hastert_Ill_resign_if_it_helps_1005.html

Embattled House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) has told conservative activist Paul Weyrich that he would resign if it would help the Republicans, Congressional Quarterly is reporting.

"He said if he thought that resigning would be helpful to the Republicans maintaining the majority, he would do it," Weyrich said in an interview. "But he did not think it would helpful for Republicans."

Yep, just out to keep power with no regard to his own failings and horrible inactions.

Kirk Fordham told The Associated Press that when he was told about Foley's inappropriate behavior toward pages, he had "more than one conversation with senior staff at the highest level of the House of Representatives asking them to intervene."

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS!!!

First, O'Reilly last night put up a graphic of Foley numerous times with (D-Florida) after his name and never corrected it, and now THIS.

PLUS the freaking AP did THIS:

This is proof positive that they are complicit in the Bush "administration's" regime's lies.

3DHS / Reynolds' chief of staff "resigns"
« on: October 04, 2006, 03:09:43 PM »
Gosh why is he doing this?  Nobody did anything wrong.  Right, Wagon circlers?

Reynolds chief of staff “resigns.”

ABC News reports that Kirk Fordham, the former chief of staff to Mark Foley and current chief of staff to Rep. Tom Reynolds (R-NY), has “resigned amid questions over whether he supressed information about Foley emails.”  1:44 pm | Comment (6)

3DHS / Republicans Dropped The Dime on Foley
« on: October 04, 2006, 10:25:53 AM »
So, no Vast LEFT Wing Conspiracy here.

Looks like someone just wanted to do the right thing.  As opposed to Hastert and the gang who just took their $100,000 and kept their mouths shut in order to not have to spend millions defending Foley's seat this year.

Staying in power is more important than protecting teenagers from IM'ing pervs.

ABC debunks claim that Foley scandal was election trick.

ABC’s Brian Ross “dismissed suggestions by some Republicans that the news was disseminated as part of a smear campaign against Mr. Foley,” the New York Times reports. “I hate to give up sources, but to the extent that I know the political parties of any of the people who helped us, it would be the same party,” Mr. Ross said, referring to Republicans.  8:20 am | Comment (4)

Proof positive of morally corrupt, koolaid-drinking morons.

Everyone else is to blame except the child predator and his higher ups who covered for him.

Technicalities, nonsensical  Clinton associations and moral relativisms.  This is the Catholic Church all over again.

Your shame should be overwhelming.

But then we know it never will.

Ego is your driving force.

3DHS / GOP Imploding As More and More Details Emerge
« on: September 30, 2006, 03:07:27 PM »
The GOP is looking more and more punchy as new details emerge.

I'm not a historian but I can't help believe that this GOP controlled government for the last few years has to be the most corrupt organization to ever take over a government.

And all you Bush/Iraq war/War of Terror supporters can only feel duped and used.  Here they have been using your morals (not ethics) as a guide to keep you in line.  They pass themselves off as "just like you" and they turn out to be liars, thieves and sexual deviants.  I feel sorry for you and hope you will hold them accountable.

Now, that we know that Hastert and Boehner have been covering for Foley, how can any  one of you not want to call for you representatives to support a total and complete ethics investigation into the whole situation?

Rove and his gang lied about their ties with Abramoff and you helped spread his bullshit.  Now the facts are tumbling out that they met repeatedly and he enjoyed gifts from Abramoff.

Rice has been implicated in the whole "terrorism was a Clinton thing" way of thinking during the runup to 9.11.  She brushed off a report that was a glaring warning.  They are either morons or complicit.

William Kristol got into it with Shepard on FOX when he said brazenly and aloud that the president should be sending in more troops (which is wrong) but the president can't "until after the elections in November".  Good lord, people.  These are the ones who run your party.

Most Corrupt.
Most Non ethical.
Most murderous.
Most greedy.
Most nefarious.

And you went along.

Those are the only two choices as far as I can tell.  Unless you add "Both"...
