It is, ot course idiocy, how nice of you to0 admit that the Queen of the Fucki=ng Republican'ts said this:

“…if liberals are so confident that the American people want unlimited abortion on demand, want religious liberty torn down, want the Second Amendment taken away, want veterans' memorials torn down, want the crosses and stars of David sandblasted off of the tombstones of our fallen veterans, then go and make the case to the people.”

Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/news/nation-world/national/article60987437.html#storylink=cpy

That is what he said. he said that "the Democrats want to sandblast crosses and stars sandblasted off the tombstones of our fallen veterans".

No Democrats wants to do this, the quote is 100% Cruz's.  And it is as idiotic as Cruz himself.

Why shouldn't we believe that ?

Religious symbols have been under siege, so what is the natural limit to these suits and offenses?

Exactly.  No one said this was Clinton saying such, which is the bogus claim xo is making.  The point is what a majority of hard core leftists would produce

The last dispute over crosses I read about was this one.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/veterans-vow-to-fight-order-to-remove-cross-overlooking-san-diego/

A private group erected a huge 40 foot cross over a veteran's graveyard. Relatives of Jewish  veterans protested.

The difference was that an individual cross is the expression of an individual family.

A giant cross is obviously to be a symbol of all those buried there. I can see where honoring a False Messiah would tick off Jews.

Jesus did not fit most of the actual prophesies mentioned in the Torah. He did not presume to be a king, he did not militarily defeat the oppressors, and he did not actual win in the predicted manner. Christian scholars twisted and yanked and contorted Jewish writings in a grotesque fashion, Maimonides wrote a book on how Jesus was an imposter and a fraud. In the interests of interdenominational harmony, Maimonides is honored by the Jews, but many of his books are kept under wraps, lest they provoke another pogrom.

It would not bother me personally, but I can see the point of those who protested.

Individual grave stones, on the other hand, only honor one dead veteran.

....and still, no one claimed, Cruz in particular, that Clinton supports the idea of sandblasting crosses off tombstones

Perhaps you should read the article yet again. The sandblasting comment was Cruz's and no one else's.

And it was neither aimed at Clinton, nor implying that she would push for such.  Perhaps you need to re-read it, since you're the one that made the original erroneous accusation

Seems as if you are assuring me that there is a limit to the militant attacks on religious symbols.

Cruz's comment was aimed at imaginary Justices that Hillary might appoint to the Supreme Court that presumable could give orders to sandblast religious symbols.

It was a stupid comment.
It was Cruz that made it.

It was a really, really stupid thing to say.

No, stupid is claiming Cruz lied about something specific, regarding Clinton, when he never made such a claim about Clinton.  It was about what could befall this country, if hardcore leftists had a green light on their intentions

I am just happy to learn that there is a limit to such things.

There seems to be no limit to the amount or stupidity that Cruz or Trump make.

Telling people that their dead veterans will have their tombstones defaced if they vote for Hillary will probably lose more votes for this fool than they will gain.

And one more time.....Cruz is referencing what could happen if leftists had their way....NOT what Clinton is supporting.  Stupid is trying to mesh the 2 differing points as one
