That's exactly what Soros & Co are doing.  He may be the most "civil" left, but that doesn't make him the best choice.  Between the "3" left, the clear choice is Cruz.  If Kasich were to drop out and lend his support/endorsement in that direction, then the voters will have a clear choice.  If he stays in, just to muddy up the water (He won't win another primary or caucus in any other state), then he risks alienating the grass roots Republicans who are already peeved at the shenanigans that politicians pull.....and those voters will latch onto Trump

My question is........is Cruz hated that much more by "the establishment" than Trump?    ???

Cruz is loathed , hared and abominated by a wide, wide range of people. This is because he is a dick. He is the sort of dick that (1) lets you know he is a dick, and then lords it over everyone by telling them that he is better than they are even if he is a dick.  I will be surprised in the extreme if this annoying sartass is reelected, because now the many Mexican Americans in Texas know that he is not one of them and in fact, does not even hablar español worth a damn. He surely got a lot of votes for having a name that ends in Z the first time.

He speaks only inglés and with the voice of un pato de caricatura.

It is no secret that Ted Cruz has few or no friends in the Senate.
He tells lies like saying that if Hillary is elected, they will sandbalst the crosses and other religious symbols from veteran's tombstones.
